ME HAN
INSPIRADO
I have had many teachers during my school years, but not every teacher has
inspired me or has taught me something valuable. My first guitar professor was like a
father to me, he always listened to me, he believed in me. He was always checking on
me, how I was doing in every aspect of my life. He helped me a lot to go through my
parents’ divorce and everything that was happening at that time. This happened when I
was in 5th to 6th grade. Then he quit that job, but I continued with the guitar lessons. He
always inspired me to explore my musical self. He was always very impressed that I
learned fast and that it was very easy for me to comprehend what he taught me.
There was also my drama teacher, she was very good at her job, and we got along
really great. I enjoyed her classes, and what she taught us, and every activity we had to
do. She really helped me with my projects, she was very dedicated to me and my work,
always curious to see my new ideas, and to help me to get through with those ideas. She
knew I was the one who enjoyed the most her classes. Her work and her personality, the
way she treated me and how she was always pendent on me, made me decide to go to
therapy too.
Now at university, the teacher that has inspired me the most is my supervisor. He’s
also my therapist and was my teacher at a hypnosis course. He is so dedicated and so
interested in me to learn and really comprehend what I’m reading, what I’m doing. I see
how dedicated he is with his job, how smart he is, the way he sees and receives every
new experience. He really motivates me to be a better therapist, to not be a conformist,
to investigate more about the things I like and I wanna do as a therapist. He’s always
there for me, any doubt I have, in anything I feel insecure to do, he is always there to
cheer me up and to teach me a better way to do things. He also strongly believes in me,
my capacities, my abilities. He knows I can do whatever I want to.
