FDP OBJECTIVES

The FDP aims at deliberation, sharing knowledge to the target audience about the
significance of soft computing and current opportunities in it by subject matter
experts with practical exposure to Faculty Members and research scholars of all the
branches of Science & Engineering and allied areas. Beside above teachers will
initiate the research work by starting simulation and iteration techniques among the
teachers. This whole exercise will enhance the multilateral thinking approach & will
impart capability to look into Science & Engineering problems with multi
directional approach followed by multidisciplinary research & development work
leading to their M.Sc. / M. Tech & Ph. D.
ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
Mathematics plays an ever-increasing role in our shifting technological landscape.
From engineers and economists to scientists and statisticians, a solid background in
mathematics is absolutely critical for adapting to the new paradigms shaping our
world. The department has well qualified and motivated faculty members and
research scholars. This department is also providing support to several other
departments and thereby has interdisciplinary expertise as well as vice - versa. The
Department has acquired recently a comprehensive MATLAB Laboratory,
competent faculty trained in the applications of various tools and techniques using
this MATLAB software. Courses offered by the Department are B.Sc (H), M.Sc. &
Ph.D.

The participants are requested to register their names by sending the duly filled
registration form in the format attached. Registrations are accepted on first come
first serve basis. Registration fee for each participant:

Industry/Scientists: Rs. 5000/-
