Reflection Paper on
Defining/ Describing Assessment and Collage Making

In this activity, you learned concepts which helped you accomplished the different tasks successfully.
This time, kindly answer the questions and complete the statements related to the activity which would
show the importance of this activity in your day-to-day activities.

In this activity, I learned the importance of doing assessment. There were 9 groups who
presented their output in a very unique way and in this activity helps realize that each and every
one of us about have different interpretation about assessment. This differences in our output
enable us to know that we have variety of learning styles.

What are the things I like best about the activity? Provide Brief Explanations why.
The things I like best about the activity was the actual presentation because actual
presentation showed our ability to communicate effectively basing on the output we had produced.
Also, the actual presentation allows each group to interpret their work on their own understanding.
The entire activity showcases creativity, craftsmanship and teamwork among group who had
presented.

What are the things I don’t like about the activity? Provide Brief Explanations why.
The things that I do not like about the activity was when we were task to give scores and
did some comments on the output of others. I realize how hard it was to give scores and do some
comments on the work of others. I felt that we had offended other groups.

What are the feelings / emotions you felt or shown about activity? Provide brief explanations why
The feelings and emotions that I felt during the activity was that I felt nervous yet excited
I cannot deny the fact that every time we are task to present something I become too nervous. But
I can manage to control that nervousness. On the other hand, I am excited on the presentation of
others. Also, I feel happy the moment we able to deliver our presentation.

How did the lesson help you see the real world use of the topic?
The lesson helps me realize the importance of doing assessment. Assessment is an
integral and crucial part in the teaching-learning process. This activity tells me that doing
assessment should utilize the right tools and must provide sufficient amount of techniques and
strategies to have an effective assessment.

I can use the concepts in my day to day activities by

I can use the concepts in my day to day activities by keeping in mind the proper way of
doing assessment. These concepts of assessments enable me to do my best in every task we are
assign to do. Being a student the concepts guide me to consider many different factors of improving
my performance in school and other activities.

What are your unanswered questions that needs to be addressed?

My unanswered questions that needs to be addressed was the precise and clear definition
of assessment. There were groups who presented many idea about assessment just making
everything complicated. If only they able to present it in a brief and concise manner so that we can
capture the very main message on the assessment.

What are things you have in mind to improve the activity better?
The things I have in mind to improve the activity better: each group must rap up
everything before the presentation to present effectively, teamwork for those groups who have
group mates who were absent, open-mindedness among others especially on the scores and
comments given by other groups.
