TRUST REST AND WAIT - 2005

JOHN 14:1-6
It’s a good night to die. We need to die to self on a daily basis. Every day we need to die.
Welcome to the house of death!

One of the most important things as a believer is to be in position. The devil will always try to
get you out of position. That’s how some people miss God. You must divorce your reasoning
and your plans. There can be no compromise. You are either with God or you are not. That’s
how you receive from God. You will either receive from God or you will not. So there is a
place where you and I must be in order to receive. And that place is in divine position. Jesus
said there is a place he has prepared for you!

Everything is established around The Way, The Truth and The Life. Jesus said, I am he who was,
who is and who is to come. Everything was established when Jesus said, I am the way, the truth
and the life—I am who always was, who always will be, and I will always be in the future. In
Christ there is no time. You and I are bound by space and time in the natural realm. Your flesh
cannot go in the other dimension. Your spirit can. Your spirit can but your flesh cannot. Jesus
said, I am the way, the truth and the life—The first thing he expressed was don’t be troubled.
Don’t have a troubled heart. In other words, don’t fear. Fear will break everything. You are
either in fear or in faith. If you want to receive something from God, you don’t receive it in fear.
You receive it in faith. He said, Don’t fear. I have a place for you—a place specifically for you!
You know the way and you may not understand the way. But I AM the way. Jesus said I AM
THE WAY. And when you come to me, everything is there for you. The way. The truth. The
life.

Jesus is the only one that can fulfill the feast of the Lord. When Jesus died on the cross that was
a representation of the way. That was known as the Passover. When he descended into hell that
was known as the feast of unleaven—leaven means evil. He fought satan. When he rose from
the dead, that was resurrection power. That was the feast of first fruits. Jesus fulfilled the first
three feasts by dying on the cross, in the first three days. He had to do that so when he ascended
into heaven, he could send the Spirit of life to you and I. When he said I am the way, the truth
and the life, he was saying, I AM everything! And there is a place in this process of way, truth
and life. Look at the way as a place of trust. The way is a place of trust. The truth is a place of
rest. The life is a place of wait. And this is what you and I must do. We must trust, rest and
wait. That’s what we are going to talk about: Trust, Rest and Wait. Some people can’t trust.
Some people can’t wait. Some people can’t get any rest!! As to the Passover lamb—that
represented the blood. Everything is expressed by the blood. Jesus is the carrier of the blood of
God. I know we look to him as man but he is the carrier of the blood of God.

In the tabernacle when Jesus said I am the way, truth and life, those were the names of the three
chambers of the tabernacle. The way—which is the outer court. The truth—which is the Holy
Place. And the life is known as the Holy of Holies. So the Blood always goes before the Spirit.
That’s why you can’t get baptized in the Holy Ghost until you repent of your sins and receive

Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Some people don’t bet baptized in the Holy Spirit because of
traditions of men, unbelief and unconfessed sin. Some people will live their whole Christian life
and never be baptized in the Holy Ghost—because of things they are holding back.

So the first chamber, which is known as the outer court, is a representation of a place of sacrifice
and is known as the cross or the way. And because of that the blood is known as a place where
you and I must trust. You and I must trust the blood of Jesus. You must trust his blood and what
he did. Jesus said I am everything—I am the way, the truth and the life. In other words, there
isn’t anything that hasn’t been completed—I have your healing, your deliverance. I have your
salvation. I have your joy. I have your peace. I AM everything!! And nothing can get to you
except through me. You can’t even get to my Father except through me. Trust, rest and wait.
We are going to trust in the blood of Jesus!

I JOHN 5:6-8
So we can see he came by water, blood and spirit. Way, truth and life. Now listen, he came by
water, blood and spirit—go on to verse 7. It doesn’t say the son. It says the word. Those are
the three that are in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit—until the word became
flesh. Then he became the son. In verse 8—I want you to look at something important. The
spirit, the water and the blood—these are coming from heaven. God is spirit. So if you look at
spirit, water and blood, those are the three chambers of the tabernacle. The blood is the first
chamber. So when God comes, he comes from spirit, water and blood. When you and I come to
Him, we go from blood, water to spirit. Spirit, water and blood, these are the three chambers of
the tabernacle. Jesus is known as the way, truth and life. God came from spirit, water, blood.
The water represents the word. The bible says wash yourself with the word. Jesus was the
sacrifice. So when you and I come to the Lord, we come through the blood, through the water of
the word, into the Spirit. Those are the three chambers of the tabernacle. The first chamber is
the blood. You have to trust in the blood. We are to trust, rest and wait.

JOHN 19:32-34
Jesus was on the cross and the two thieves were with him—Of course, they had to be killed
before the Passover. Verse 32. …but one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and
immediately blood and water came out. That was you! That’s when God birthed you!
Remember when Adam was asleep—where did Eve come from? His side. The same side where
Jesus was pierced. That was Adam’s bride. You and I are Christ’s bride.

REVELATION 12:11
… and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they
did not love their lives to death. We see that the blood and their testimony—their testimony
represents truth. That’s what they overcame by. The demons hate the blood of Jesus. People
don’t use the blood of the Lamb enough—the blood of Jesus. We are going to trust in his blood.
That’s the first thing we are going to do. When I am sick in body—trust in the blood. When you
get the revelation, you get the healing. When you get the revelation, you get deliverance. It has
to become rhema! Which means life giving! It can no longer be logos. You cannot be caught
up in your symptoms or what your circumstances are. It’s not yours anyway. The devil always
wants you to say it’s yours.

As a man thinketh, so he is. That’s where the fight is—in the mind! The problem is most people
don’t realize that most of their thoughts are not even theirs. Believe me the devil doesn’t have a
specific voice. He comes as an angel of light. He likes to speak to us. You don’t feel good, do
you? Uh oh, remember what the doctor said? Ugh oh. Let’s add a little fear on that! It’s either
fear or faith.

EXODUS 12: 6-13

This was the time of the Passover feast. … now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses
where you are…. The house is your body.

Everyone say: The blood of Jesus purifies my blood and makes me whole. I apply the blood of
Jesus upon my spirit, my soul, my body—upon my organs, my tissues and my blood vessels. In
Jesus’ name! Trust in the blood. You know there are testimonies of so many places that have
been destroyed by hurricanes and stuff like that—about people who applied the blood of Jesus to
their homes. And their homes were still standing. It was the first thing I used all the time when I
first got saved—the blood. I still use the blood every single day! It’s one of the weapons of
God. Unfortunately, people forget. The devil likes to block us from being quickened to the
blood of Jesus. You and I must trust in the purifying blood. The blood of Jesus.

MATTHEW 26:28
… For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sin. So
the blood is shed, not only for the new covenant—the ministry of the new covenant is of the
Spirit. But it is also for remission of sin. So Jesus came and shed his blood that a whole new
covenant would be manifested. A whole new covenant but first he had to fulfill the old
covenant. It wasn’t just thrown away. He fulfilled it—and he made a place for you and I that
anyone who came to Him could have all things and everything. Through his blood. That’s why
the first thing you and I must do is repent. Repentance activates the blood. Because it is the new
covenant of the ministry of the Spirit of the Living God. That’s why when you make confession,
you are forgiven—Because the blood is activated. When you are baptized in water, it’s a
representation of being baptized in the blood. The blood removes the scars of sin. You have to
trust in the blood. The blood of the new covenant brings new promises. Jesus said I am the way,
truth and life. I’m the one you need to trust in. I’m the one you need to rest in and I’m the one
you need to wait with.

ROMANS 5:8-9
We see that the blood not only brings a new covenant and removes sin, protects us from the
destroyer, purifies us—but it also justifies us. The blood justifies us. We need to start trusting in
the blood more. When you are trusting in the Lord, you are trusting in the blood.

COLOSSIANS 1:17-19
He is the head of the body. We need to take our own heads off and let him be the head! And
start trusting in the blood!

So we have peace. Peace also represents healing. Because where there is sickness and disease
and torment—that’s not peace. We need to get more revelation of the blood. We need to really
trust in the blood. Remember when you say you are trusting in the Lord, you’re trusting in the

blood. You are trusting in his word. You are trusting in his presence. The devil is always going
to try and bring you doubt. That’s his job. Doubt associates with fear. He also associates with
unbelief. He’s going to try and remove something from you that you already believed in. That’s
what unbelief is. One day we can believe we have it and understand and then the next day the
demon of unbelief shows up and starts throwing fiery darts and all of a sudden we’re not so sure
anymore. What if …. What if …. Once you said, Okay—now you are associating with fear.
We have to walk things out. You know the bible says everyone must work out their own
salvation. That’s walking it out. Many of us have seen people get healed. Especially after
services, where somebody would be ill or hurt—Like we saw Friday night where that brother got
healed. He was hurting the whole time. But the spirit said he was going to heal him. It might
not have felt good the first couple of steps he took—but after he kept walking, he kept breaking
it off. He kept receiving. He kept receiving that he was healed. I heard a testimony about this
gentleman who had hurt his back—A pastor who had broken his back and he was in the hospital.
He could barely move. And the Lord said, Get up. He said, But Lord …. And the Lord said,
Get up. You’ve been preaching healing and I’m the Healer. He said the pain was excruciating.
He said but when he got up and began to walk a little bit, he said the pain was terrible and he was
ready to give up and fall to the ground. And he said, No! By his stripes, I’m healed!! No!!
BAM!—He got healed. And he walked out of the hospital.

HEBREWS 9:13
The blood. Every day, Lord I apply the blood of Jesus on my thoughts, on my walk and my talk.
Remember that God acknowledges the blood. He looks at the blood. The carnal mind cannot
comprehend this. The carnal mind will reject it instantly. The carnal mind will say I tried this
already. You don’t try. You do. Jesus said don’t be a hearer and tryer. He said be a hearer and
doer.

1 JOHN 1:6-9
He just said you have to practice the truth. You have to do it. If we say we have fellowship with
him and don’t practice the truth, we lie. He calls us a liar!! If you say that you know him and
you don’t practice the truth, you are a liar! You don’t know me then. You might have heard
about me. You might have read about me. But you don’t know me! If we say that we have no
sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. So we have to use the blood, don’t we. If
we confess our sins…. Why? Because it’s the ministry of the new covenant of the ministry of the
Spirit. Confession—the word Spirit means breath. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just
to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In other words, if we walk
it. He says if we walk it. If we are doers. If we practice it. If we are doers, his blood cleanses.
His blood is always activated and available for you and I. By confession. His blood is there all
the time. His blood is protecting. His blood is keeping you and I from darkness. His blood will
not protect you from what you choose to do. You can claim the blood of Jesus all day long—but
if you choose to associate with darkness and listen to them and agree with it, the blood can’t
protect you. You have to repent and sever that. Jesus heals. He’s the same yesterday, today and
tomorrow. He delivers. He grants salvation through his blood. We must get fresh revelation
where we learn how to trust in his blood. Trusting in his blood is trusting in Him!

LEVITICUS 17:11
The life of the flesh is in the blood…. The life of your flesh is in the blood! It’s in your blood.
Many people ask what nationality you are. I always tell them I’m Christ’s! My blood doesn’t
come from my family anymore. I’m a new creation in Christ. My blood comes from the throne
room of God. I am a new creation in Christ. Many people just don’t comprehend that. If I’m a
new creation in Christ, old things have passed away. That means those inherited—those things I
had inherited that caused me problems, sicknesses, diseases and fears are passed away by my
confession of breaking them! ….For it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. We have
to trust in the blood!

HEBREWS 9:6-11
…which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance. Even ignorance
brings a curse.

You are the tabernacle. The Spirit of God dwells in you. God wants us to be made whole. He
wants us to walk healthy. We know God’s perfect will is that we don’t get sick. That’s his
perfect will—that we don’t get sick. We have talked about three types of curses—inherited, self-
imposed and temporary. So when you shake someone’s hand that’s sick, you’ve touched that
curse. Well that’s temporary.

Without shedding of the blood, there is no remission. Without shedding of the blood, there is no
atonement. There had to be shedding of blood!! And the only blood that could truly purify all
mankind, was the blood of God. God had to come.

ISAIAH 53:4-5
Surely he has born our griefs—or sicknesses. …and carried our sorrows—which are pain and
torments. …Yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded
for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was
upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. So God had to come into the world, carrying his
blood. The blood was about to be released. As they began to torture him, the blood began to be
released. God was releasing his blood in the natural arena. He was releasing his blood so that
you and I could be delivered—so that we could be healed.

JOHN 6:51-56
The flesh represented the word. We talked about the blood and how you and I must trust in the
blood. Trust, rest and wait. You and I must rest on the word of God—that it is truth! You must
rest on the word!

JOHN 1:12-14
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who
believe in his name. He gave them the right to be healed, to be delivered, to be set apart,
sanctified, to be filled with the Holy Spirit. He gave them the open door—to have everything.
…who were born not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. If you
are born again and born of God, all things are available to you. In fact, the bible says that you
and I are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Jesus said, I came to bring you
life and life more abundantly. The reason people are not living a more abundant life is that they

don’t know how to trust, rest and wait. God is not a drive through. Not that he can’t heal you
instantly—He can! He has done it to me more than once. And I have seen him do it to many
other people. But we’ve got to learn how to trust in his blood, rest on his word and wait in his
presence. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Grace means favor. Jesus came in
the flesh, filled with blood. He knew he had to die so you and I could be healed. He knew he
had to die so that you and I could be rescued from sin and hell. And he had to die to give us
everything. He said, I’ve given everything to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit has given you
and I everything. The word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory in the
fullness of grace and truth. Jesus was the walking word. In fact, Jesus didn’t do any miracles
until the Spirit came upon him. So Jesus was the word, who became flesh, who became the
anointed word when the Holy Spirit came upon him. Then he began to do miracles and signs
and wonders. But he was the word that became flesh. That’s why you and I must eat the flesh
and drink the blood. Communion is a wonderful way. People get healed by having communion.
Most people don’t understand what the communion is.

MATTHEW 11:28
Now we are talking about the rest. We have already talked about trusting in the blood. Now we
have to talk about resting in the word. Just because you read the word doesn’t mean you believe
it. You can memorize the bible inside and out and still not believe it. You may make
confessions of it and still not believe it. As a man thinketh, so he is. You have to see yourself as
totally healed and delivered and free. Jesus said I don’t do anything unless I see my father do it
first. Then he did it.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon
you and learn from Me…. LEARN!!! Learn from me!!!! Learn my ways. Why? Because he is
the way. …for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My
yoke is easy and My burden is light. Jesus was saying, I am the way, the truth and the life! I am
who you seek!! Trust in— I am the one you can say yes to and I am the one you can wait on!
He said come and learn from me. People don’t come and learn from him. They read the word
and think that they have come to him and learned. Some people say they pray in the morning
and pray at night. Oh Lord, now I lay me down to sleep…. Or in the morning, Lord thank you
for another day, bless me and dress me, see you later. Hallelujah. The word says, seek and you
will find. It says ask and you’ve got it. Seek and knock. These are the three chambers of the
tabernacle. The way, the truth and the life are the three chambers of the tabernacle. Learn from
me, he says. People are going everywhere else and learning all kinds of other stuff but what they
need to learn. People are looking for witnesses of power. Not witnesses of knowledge. There’s
enough knowledge around. Witnesses with power. The world is looking for witnesses of power.
That’s why it says cast out devils, lay hands on the sick—manifest the kingdom of God. So you
and I must learn the word to rest. We are going to trust in the blood and rest in his word.

I truly believe that in this period of time that God has us in—it is a unique period of time. It is
glorious! And God is not only shaking the church, he’s shaking the world. In the preparation for
his return, one of the things that is happening right now—You know there is nothing new under
the sun. When pharaoh wouldn’t let God’s people go, all kinds of stuff happened. Plagues,
earthquakes, disasters—all kinds of things were happening—until pharaoh finally let God’s

people go. When they came out of Egypt (which means the world), no one left sick. Those who
were blind, saw. Those who were lame and couldn’t walk, walked and were healed. They left
with pharaoh’s cash. They left with all kinds of stuff. God is doing that now! He’s getting
prepared to remove. That’s why he says to come out from among them and be separate. Come
out of the world. Yes I know you live in the world. But come out of—come out of the worldly
understanding. Come out of the worldly way. Come out of the worldly wisdom. Come out of
the worldly knowledge. Come out! Jesus said learn from me and rest in me. Become a witness
of power. God is wanting to heal and deliver his church. Because he says he’s coming back for
a spotless, blameless bride. Blemish free! He’s telling his church—in fact, he’s upset with his
church because it’s still secular. You don’t have to be conformed to the world to save the world.
He’s calling the church out. He wants us to be a sign and wonder to doctors. He wants us to be
a sign and wonder to people. He wants you to be a sign and wonder where you work. He’s
beginning to pull the church out more and more and more. He’s healing his people. He’s
healing his church. This last move of God is going to be so tremendous—it’s already begun. It’s
continuing to build and build and build. But we have to trust in the blood. And we have to rest
in his word. That’s where his promises are.

HEBREWS 3:7-11
Hearing his voice is hearing his word. … They always go astray in their heart…. That’s called
doublemindedness.

When we don’t rest in his word, we become rebellious—our heart becomes hardened and we
begin to blame God for our problems—or everyone else. Or we say that God can’t do it, because
we are associating with the spirit of rebellion. When you are saying God can’t do it you are
associating with rebellion. The word says he is less than a breath away. We are the temple of
the Living God and we need to get understanding!

HEBREWS 4:12-13
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart. It says that it pierces, it penetrates your spirit, your soul and
your body—and your marrow, what gives you red blood cells. The life of the flesh is in the
blood. Some of us need a Holy Ghost blood transfusion.

ISAIAH 55:8-11
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the
heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts
than your thoughts. So we need to get his thoughts, don’t we. That’s how you rest in the word.
His thoughts are written!

Let me tell you something—God is not holding anything back from you. It’s the devil that gets
between you and God.

JOHN 13:21-26
…Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. Jesus was the
word. What was this disciple doing? He was resting on the word. He was resting in him. John

was the one that was doing this. John was the one who got all those revelations because he was
resting in the word. When you are resting in Jesus, when you ask you get!

PSALM 119:97-105
The law is the word. The devil is always trying to convince you that you have trouble.

You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies…. You make me wiser than
my sickness and my circumstance—and my fears. Those are my enemies. My doubts and my
unbelief. For they are ever with me. They are always there. They are always around. They are
not going to leave you alone! You are in a fallen world. The ruler of this earth is called satan!
You will always be around darkness.

…therefore I hate every false way. We have to begin to hate evil. We must hate drugs and
alcohol. We must hate perversion. We must hate sickness and disease. We must hate it!! Lies
and deceit and falsehood—we must hate it. We must hate every evil way.

In verse 105, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Rest in the word and you
will be able to see—It becomes a path to you. You and I must rest in the word.

PSALM 37:3-9
We have to feed on His faithfulness. He says eat my flesh and drink my blood! Trust in my
blood and rest in my word!

But those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. So we know that waiting in His
presence—that’s what we are to do. Waiting on the Lord means to wait in his presence. So we
are to trust in his blood, rest in his word, and wait in his presence.

I am not going to go through all the scriptures but I am going to tell you what happens in his
presence. There is refreshing in his presence. There is healing in his presence. There’s
deliverance in his presence. There is abundance in his presence. He ambushes your enemies
when you are in his presence. And you become a new person in his presence. The more you are
in his presence, the more you change. You must trust in the blood, rest in his word and wait in
his presence! Because the blood goes first and then the Spirit.

PSALM 27:13, 14
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the
land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD! Hallelujah!!

PSALM 16:7, 8
…Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Divine positioning. We have a
wonderful teaching on divine positioning – several actually. The devil always wants to move
you right out of position.

…In your presence is fullness of joy…. The bible says a merry heart is good medicine. That’s
why he wants us to wait in his presence! The word also tells us that in his presence is not only
fullness of joy but that the joy of the Lord is our strength. We must wait in his presence.

PSALM 140:12, 13
I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted—When you get sick and so forth,
you are afflicted. He’s going to maintain the cause of the afflicted. ...and justice for the poor.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.
The upright shall dwell in his presence.

PSALM 91:1-11
There are a lot of promises when you are waiting in his presence. There are a lot of promises.
I’m not going to go through them all but I do want to share a couple of things. In verse 1, …I
will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust! In verse 9,
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His
angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. One angel can kill 185,000 humans. We
have no need to worry—we have a legion of them. Or two. If you dwell in God’s presence, if
you wait in his presence, the evil one can’t touch you. The devil wants to move us out of God’s
waiting place of his presence. So we are going to trust in his blood, rest in his word and wait in
his presence.

PSALM 40:1-4
He waited in God’s presence and God delivered him. Then he puts a new song in him. When
God delivers, we sing a new song. …Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. Why?
Because then we will be a witness of power!! Oh, but the devil loves to move you out of
position. The greatest fight is just before the blessing comes. …nor such as turn aside to lies….
Or ungodly counsel. Cursed is the man who accepts ungodly counsel. But blessed is the man
who accepts Godly counsel. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and cursed is the man
who trusts in man.

ISAIAH 40:28-31
He neither faints nor is weary. Our God is not sleeping! And he is not far from us. As a man
thinketh so he is. As a man heareth so he thinketh. The devil wants to tell you that you all sorts
of lies. The strongholds of memory lies that afflict the children of God today—we need to break
those labels off! …But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall
mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Trusting in the Blood of Jesus, Resting in the Word, Waiting in the Presence of the King.

NOTES: Trust Rest & Wait - 2005

You must divorce your reasoning and your plans. There can be no compromise. You are
either with God or you are not. That’s how you receive from God.
God doesn’t need my help. Continually purpose to take my hands off of things. To do
otherwise is survival mode. I am to do what the father tells me, nothing more and
nothing less. His way and not mine. He has the bigger picture. [exposing and
confronting spirits of control].

You are either in fear or in faith. If you want to receive something from God, you don’t receive
it in fear. You receive it in faith.

The way is a place of trust. The truth is a place of rest. The life is a place of wait. And this is
what you and I must do.

You must trust his blood and what he did. Jesus said I am everything—I am the way, the truth
and the life. In other words, there isn’t anything that hasn’t been completed—I have your
healing, your deliverance. I have your salvation. I have your joy. I have your peace. I AM
everything!! And nothing can get to you except through me. You can’t even get to my Father
except through me. Trust, rest and wait. We are going to trust in the blood of Jesus!
Relationship. The deeper I go with God. the more intimate my relationship with Him
becomes, the more I trust him – the more I rest in him because I trust in Him.

So when God comes, he comes from spirit, water and blood. When you and I come to Him, we
go from blood, water to spirit.

Spirit, water and blood, these are the three chambers of the tabernacle. Jesus is known as the
way, truth and life. God came from spirit, water, blood. The water represents the word. The
bible says wash yourself with the word. Jesus was the sacrifice. So when you and I come to the
Lord, we come through the blood, through the water of the word, into the Spirit. Those are the
three chambers of the tabernacle. The first chamber is the blood. You have to trust in the blood.

Believe me the devil doesn’t have a specific voice. He comes as an angel of light.

We see that the blood not only brings a new covenant and removes sin, protects us from the
destroyer, purifies us—but it also justifies us.

I heard a testimony about this gentleman who had hurt his back—A pastor who had broken his
back and he was in the hospital. He could barely move. And the Lord said, Get up. He said,
But Lord …. And the Lord said, Get up. You’ve been preaching healing and I’m the Healer. He
said the pain was excruciating. He said but when he got up and began to walk a little bit, he said
the pain was terrible and he was ready to give up and fall to the ground. And he said, No! By
his stripes, I’m healed!! No!! BAM!—He got healed. And he walked out of the hospital.
I have to press in past the pain more. I need to hold off on taking advil and claim my
healing. It is part of my walk. Advil is a short cut. Taking it does not require me to fight

 through the seen to the unseen, which is where my healing is. It is a quick fix – a lazy
alternative. I need to stop and examine before automatically taking the advil. What does
this speak of my walk/trust? Need to examine this and do something about it.

If I’m a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away. That means those inherited—those
things I had inherited that caused me problems, sicknesses, diseases and fears are passed away
by my confession of breaking them!

You and I must rest on the word of God—that it is truth! You must rest on the word!

The reason people are not living a more abundant life is that they don’t know how to trust, rest
and wait. God is not a drive through.
Must remember how God collapsed time with vivien and moved. I did not see what he
was doing at the time [later I found he moved mountains behind the scenes] –even though
I was not seeing any outward change, I continually purposed to take my hands off and
just gave her over to him—trusting him with my little girl. Knowing that whatever he
had to do to bring her totally in—whatever she had to experience in the natural was worth
eternity with him. I trusted Him to know how to do it best. Knowing that all I had to
do was seek him first and he would take care of everything else [Prioritizing your
Priorities, Thy Kingdom Come series] --- And he was/is faithful. He took her through in
a manner of months what it took me years to go through. It wasn’t instant but it was a lot
quicker when I did not interfere with His will. In the same way I trusted God with vivien,
I must trust him with Russell. God doesn’t need my help with Russell. God knows what
my family needs. God knows what he wants for me. I know God ordained my marriage.
And that all was in his time and that it was his perfect will and not just the good or
acceptable —In this same manner, as I did with vivien -- I must keep my focus on God
and not on the circumstances. We magnify what we focus on. It doesn’t matter what
I see carnally – I must know by faith/trusting Him - that he is orchestrating everything in
such detail behind the scenes. And just giving me another live test on this particular
teaching: trust rest and wait. God already moved heaven and earth to give me everything.
I just need to stay in position so that I have access to the treasures that he has already
poured out for me. The dial must be set correctly so that I can receive from the window
of opportunity – the window of God that is only opened when I am in position. God
doesn’t need my help. I just have to cooperate with Him by staying in position and
refusing to be moved.

You may make confessions of it and still not believe it. As a man thinketh, so he is. You have
to see yourself as totally healed and delivered and free.
My own efforts and strengths to believe the truth doesn’t do it. “works” don’t do it.
Relationship causes me to operate out of the correct belief system. Only through
relationship – thru His Spirit. Where I KNOW my father so well that TRUST is SO
deeply ingrained—it becomes automatic, that I know if he says we are having spaghetti
for dinner, that we are. I don’t ask where the red sauce is. I don’t ask where the pasta is.
Even though I may not see it in any cabinet. I know it will be so because He said so.
Because trusting in his blood and resting on his word – all that He is. It brings it
from the Spirit realm through the open window of opportunity to the natural realm.

 but I will only receive from the window of opportunity when I am in position – not too
far to the left or to the right – but in exact position. There is no almost in position either –
I either am or am not. Trust in the blood through relationship with the Father causes
me to operate from the correct belief system (of who and what Christ says I am and
have in Him) – wherein I am operating in the supernatural – and not according to
any of the laws of the natural realm. Must seek Him – when I do he reveals Himself
to me. As I am a good steward of that which he has revealed already to me, he will
reveal more – trust is deepened as the relationship is deepened. I must seek him.
That’s the bottom line – must continually pray that he causes me to hunger for him.

So you and I must learn the word to rest.

That’s why he says to come out from among them and be separate. Come out of the world. Yes
I know you live in the world. But come out of—come out of the worldly understanding. Come
out of the worldly way. Come out of the worldly wisdom. Come out of the worldly knowledge.

God is wanting to heal and deliver his church. Because he says he’s coming back for a spotless,
blameless bride. Blemish free! He’s telling his church—in fact, he’s upset with his church
because it’s still secular. You don’t have to be conformed to the world to save the world.
Sanctification. Guard my gates.

Waiting on the Lord means to wait in his presence. So we are to trust in his blood, rest in his
word, and wait in his presence.

I am not going to go through all the scriptures but I am going to tell you what happens in his
presence. There is refreshing in his presence. There is healing in his presence. There’s
deliverance in his presence. There is abundance in his presence. He ambushes your enemies
when you are in his presence. And you become a new person in his presence.

He waited in God’s presence and God delivered him. Then he puts a new song in him. When
God delivers, we sing a new song. …Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. Why?
Because then we will be a witness of power!! Oh, but the devil loves to move you out of
position. The greatest fight is just before the blessing comes.
I must not be moved by anything—detach from whatever “feelings” are associated
with whatever circumstances I am going through. Observe them. But don’t identify
with them!! Only identify with who and what Christ says I am and have. Identify
with only that. I am a piling in the ocean. Everything can come at me and swirl
violently around me but I am not moved. Things may hurt as they come at me but
those darts don’t ever penetrate -- they bounce off the shield of faith with which I
am always armed. The darts then serve only to make me stronger and more deeply
and firmly rooted in Christ. Faith in what? His word. Him. Relationship. It all
comes back to seeking him – diligently. God is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.

He neither faints nor is weary. Our God is not sleeping! And he is not far from us. As a man
thinketh so he is. As a man heareth so he thinketh.

What is allowed in my gates will either sow to the flesh or to the spirit. There is nothing
neutral – no gray area – no middle ground. What I allow in my ears and eye gates will
either be for Christ, sowing to the edification of my spirit man and promoting the
manifestation of the Kingdom of God in me and through me to others – or it sows to my
flesh, which profits nothing. Why feed my old nature. To not feed my spirit IS to feed
my old nature. If it does not profit my spirit man – it is not necessary – why waste my
time. What goes in WILL AFFECT me. What I surround myself with – what I dwell on
– what I read and what I hear will affect my thinking.
