At the end of the lesson the learners should be abe to
1. Defind what is dance
2. Identify what are the elements of dance
3. Execute dance step considering the elements of dance

II. Subject Matter


a. Topic: Dance and its elements
b. Reference: Module in Grade 7: PE and Health pages 112-116, Internet
c. Materials: Modules, Powerpoint Presentation, Video Clip

III. Procedure
a. Daily Routine: Prayer, Greetings, Checking of attendance
b. Review/Motivation: “Dance Again”
c. Lesson Development:
1. What is dance?
2. Identify the elements of dance according to the activity that they have perform.
d. Application: The students will execute dance step considering the elements of
dance

IV. Evaluation:
ACTIVITY: SAYAW MO TO!
The class will divide into five groups, each group will perform a dance step that shows
the elements of dance.

V. ASSIGNMENT:
1. What are the fundamental steps of arms and feet?

Call a student in front of the class who will execute the fundamental steps in
arms and another student who will also execute the fundamental steps in feet.
IV. Evaluation
The class will divide into five members and they will create a dance performance
using the fundamental position of arms and feet with music.

III. Procedure
a. Daily Routine: Prayer, Greetings, Checking of attendance
b. Review/Motivation: Call a students that perform a short basic dance step
c. Lesson Development:
1. Video presentation of different kinds of dance
2. Analyze the video of different kinds of dance
3. Differentiate the different kinds of dance
d. Application: Identify Me!
Procudure: The teacher will play a short video clip and the students wil
identify what kind of dance is being played.

IV. Evaluation:
ACTIVITY: DANCE DRAWLOTS
The teacher will divide the students into five groups. Each group will pick on the
box what are the kinds of dance that they are going to perform.

b. Review/Motivation: “Dance..dance..dance..”
c. Lesson Development: The teacher will watch each student’s performance
together with other invited teachers.
d. Application: The students will perform each Ballroom Dances formed by
grouped.

IV. Evaluation: The teacher will evaluate student’s performance through giving positive
feedback to show appreciation to each student’s effort together with other teachers.
