Use of Nanopore Microneedling in Dermatology

Briefing about whitening with tranexamic acid

Thursday, December 6th

10:30h - 11.15h / HALL3

Dr. Gabriel Serrano Sanmiguel MD, PhD

Dr Gabriel Serrano is Consultant Dermatologist since 1978 and the owner of the Clinic
Dr Gabriel Serrano in Valencia.

Sesderma was the first laboratory in Spain to launch a complete line of treatments with
glycolic acid, and is now the only one which develops a wide variety of products using
nanotechnology.
Dr. Serrano created Nanopore device in 2014, revolutioning microneedling treatments.

What is NANOPORE stylus?
NANOPORE stylus is an electrical microneedling medical device.
Induces and regenerates the skin’s collagen via intercelular communication therapy. Medical device for intercellular communication therapy

INDICATIONS ACTION MECHANISM

Wrinkles Hyperpigmentations
Photoaging Flaccidity 1 Physical and mechanical stimulus
Dilated pores Cellulite The inflammatory cascade (release of interleukins, cytokines
Stretch marks Scars and growth factors) activates the production of collagen and
elastin.
Alopecia Eye bags and dark circles
Improves communication between dermis and epidermis
Hypopigmentation Acne (keratinocyte and melanocyte) increasing signals through the
dermal-epidermal connectors.
Improves intercellular communication
TRIPLE-ACTION
MICRONEEDLES

1 Increases transdermal penetration WITH WITHOUT

2 Combination with serum with growth factors
Microperforation of the stratum
Lubricates needles Reduces pain and epidermal trauma.
corneum increases the permeability
and penetration of active ingredients. Individual treatment Growth factors cocktail.
Liposomal solution combined with
Micro-holes close in 10 minutes. microneedles. Transport of active ingredients to dermal and epidermal levels.
PENETRATION IS 200 TIMES GREATER.
Scientific Evidence: It has been demonstrated that only
0.3% of a topical cosmetic application (Fluorescein),
Penetrates through the skin. Using microneedles,
penetration of Fluorescein liposomes is 200 times greater.
