questions pertaining both to Prozac/SSRIs in general and the impact of Prozac/SSRIs in modern

time. This psychiatrist was also able to give me a unique perspective of my topic, pertaining to

how she used Prozac/SSRIs in her practice.

This book explored the many unique aspects of Prozac, and the many viewpoints

regarding this

medication. The book also talked about the controversial issues with Prozac. It helped me

understand Prozac's popularity to a greater depth.

This source was primary as it was an interview with Irving Kirsch a lecturer in medicine who is

the Associate Director of the Program in Placebo Studies. He used to prescribe antidepressants
frequently to patients, but upon conducting experiments on the effectiveness of antidepressants

compared to that of placebos, he found that antidepressants might not really treat depression.

This interview also gave me an interesting perspective showing that perhaps antidepressants are

not as effective as they were once perceived to be.

This source was my most helpful source when studying the stigma concerning

The book discussed in detail experiments and studies that had been done to show that

more than men. It also offered a modern perspective on negative opinions towards my

topic.
