Subject: School Policies to Lessen Drop– Out Rate Due to Teenage Pregnancy

1. In compliance to the Division Memorandum No. 261, s. 2019, re: “POLICIES TO
LESSEN DROP- OUT RATE TO TEENAGE PREGNANCY”, all teachers, parents and
pupils are enjoined to adopt the following School Policies after a thorough consultation
with some Faculty Members and PTA Officers.

* Include in the Agenda of the PTA General Assembly, HRPTA Meetings regarding the
issue on Teenage Pregnancy and discuss the ways to prevent it.

*Integration of concepts on teenage pregnancy in Science and Health, EPP and ESP
lessons in Grades 4- 6 pupils

*Lessen performance task /activities in all learning areas, such as but not limited to group
outputs that result to spending time beyond the required school time for our learners, but
in the case it is deemed necessary, this will be done inside the school premises with the
guidance of the concerned teacher and with the approval of the school head and seek
parental consent. This will be emphasized in the PTA and General Assembly
Conferences that there will be no group activity that will be done outside the school
premises.

* A Confession Box, aside from suggestion box, will be available along Gabaldon
Building that will serve as a way to express one’s problem in a confidential way. This
will be locked and it will be opened by the designated Monitoring and Evaluation
Committee.

MINUTES OF THE TEACHERS AND PARENTS’ MEETING

September 5. 2019

I. The meeting officially started at 11: 00 am.

II. Agendum:
Discussion of the Division Memorandum No. 261, s. 2019.

III. Attendance: ( See attached Attendance Sheet)

IV. Discussion of the Agendum:

The following matters were discussed and approved unanimously by the
attendees of the meeting in compliance to the Division Memorandum No. 261, s.
2019, re: “POLICIES TO LESSEN DROP- OUT RATE TO TEENAGE
PREGNANCY”.
