Career Summary:
A tireless Mechanical engineer performed solid roles as QA/QC Professional in oil and gas and infrastructure
construction projects (Onshore/Offshore). Mainly into Quality control, assurance, procurement quality
management, inspection, testing in welding, piping, pipeline, structural, valves, equipment, fabrication, audits, NDE,
pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, storage tanks, heat exchangers, managing inspectors, offshore packages,
FAT, vendor quality control, coating, HVAC, Fire Systems, and Plumbing. Worked in the construction site, fabrication
shop & office, in effect earned 13 years of experience, excellent knowledge of materials types, applications, ASTM
specifications, ASME codes & referential cognition in ISO/NACE/API etc.
In Seeh Al Sarya for Oil and Gas Flowline, Pipelines & Piping(PDO)Jul 2018 to Nov 2019 as QA/QC Supervisor/Eng:
Managed 20+ multi discipline inspectors from welding, coating, GRE, electrical, instrumentation, Civil and
HDPE.
Quality requirements planning such as documents, resources, WPS, Inspections, testing and equipment.
Instructing and guiding inspectors every day.
Ensuring the Quality Management System (Quality plan, ITP and control procedures) is implemented in all the
areas of the project and follow for conformity.
Ensuring all the current revisions of AFC documents, ITPs, procedures, method statements, NDE procedure and
SP are in use at site by handing over the controlled copies to all inspectors
Reviewing Material Receiving Inspection reports and ensuring all the inspectors are closing the MRIR as per the
AFC drawings, PO, DO and MTCs etc. and ensuring materials are stored properly in the yard and site.
Verifying all the equipment, tools, welding machines are calibrated when put in use.
Ensuring all the inspectors are on duty in time and fulfill their duties without fail and delay.
Assisting the welding engineer during Welding procedure qualification.
Managing the welders’ qualification, welders register log and issuing welders cards. Monitoring the
performance of all welders.
Coordinating with NDE team to accomplish the job & reviewing all kind of inspection reports.
Reviewing RT films, RT, PT, MPT, UT, HT, FT reports etc.

Conducting internal and client weekly quality minutes of meeting and solving day to day site quality issues.
Regular reporting to and coordination with head office for support.
Finding Root Cause of defects in Welding and conducting regular meeting with welders to minimize welding

Independently took on Hull & Topside as Assistant Manager for QA/QC from March 2014 to March 2017:
Static Equipment//Pressure Vessels: Scrubbers, Separators, Filters, and Pig Launchers, Buffer drums, Storage
and drain tanks.
Piping and Valve Materials: Pipes, all types of valves, Fittings, Flanges, Fasteners, Gaskets, Flow meters,
transmitters, Anodes, specialty and miscellaneous items in CS, LTCS, SS, DSS, SDSS, AlBr, inconel, Cu-Ni,
GRE/GRP.
Packages & Equipment: ODMS, Mooring chains, wires and connectors, underwater chain stoppers & fair
leads handling equipment, Davits, Rafts, rescue boats, Chemical dosing units, hose and hose reels, HPU,
HVAC, Fender System, water ballast eductor, air operated pumps, raw diesel filter, Sea water lift pumps and
TUTU.
Reviewed the scope of work, ITPs, WPS/PQR, welder qualification, procedures, inspection reports,
certificates of packages, equipment, vessels, piping items based on project specification.
Prepared Procedures, Check sheets for Vessels, Piping materials, valves and packages.
Lead audited the vendors for qualification, Quality and fabrication audits in the vendor fabrication shop as
per project requirements and specification.
Conducted meetings with Client and internal departments to comply Project Quality requirements.
Reported to boss regarding the status and requirements. Proactively worked to minimize reworks/delay.
Prepared weekly/monthly quality reports.
Prepared Criticality Assessment for Piping materials, Valves and Equipment based on execution plan.
Conducted Pre-inspection (PIM) and technical meetings with Vendors prior to fabrication/manufacturing.
Coordinating with Client, TPI, internal inspectors, procurement dept and Vendors’ inspectors for inspections,
testing, surveillance, Audits.
Surveillance of the construction yard and vendor shops during fabrication, assembly, storage and
preservation. Conducted technical and NCR/CAR close out meetings with vendors.
Close liaison with the quality department and inspectors of Client and vendor, and internal engineers
everyday to meet the quality requirements of Project.

Witnessed PQR, qualification tests of welders and painters, production tests, welding, fabrication, NDE,
PWHT, hydrostatic tests of piping and valves (gate, globe, butterfly, check, needle, ball), PMI, Pickling and
Passivation, Painting (surface preparation, cleanliness, coating, adhesion test and final DFT and visual
inspection), factory/functional acceptance test (FAT), Final inspections after mechanical completion,
prepared punch and followed to close before and after delivery.
Handled in detail with Tungsten Carbide Coating (coating, inspection and testing).
Suggested logical alternate solutions for NCR/CAR and other quality issues.
Initiated and assisted in the preparation of Technical query, deviation and derogation.
Raised many NCR/CAR, closed and maintained record.
Conducted Root Cause Analysis for the Defects/problems/issues and Non-Conformity.

Flow(Q), Performance test, NSPHA, Temperature, Vibration/resonance, Sound/Noise, Lubricant temp,
Mechanical run test, Bar-over, painting, packing/preservation as per API 610 and 618 and review of As-built
Data sheet and receiving inspection.
Reviewed ITPs of vendors against Project specification and made inspection plan for the following:
Pumps and Compressors, Sewage Treatment, Potable water treatment/distribution, fresh and potable water
Hydrophore, diesel centrifuge, bilge treatment, fresh water production, seawater/cooling water exchanger,
slop water, temporary biocide injection, service water coarse filtration, tank washing machine, tandem
offloading system, high pressure cleaning unit, internal of WT/CST, water mist skid, Gas suppression system,
hydraulic hatch, diesel generator, foam and deluge skids.
