Do curfews make teens out of trouble?

To my teacher, Ms. Aizel Ann Gunida, to my fellow speakers, to all of the teens in this
classroom, a pleasant day to all of us.

Before I begin presenting my points, I would like first to tell you that I these opinions are
all supported by a well-researched factual information coming from a reliable source and these
are valid information pertaining to our topic. That means, I do not just give opinions, but I am
telling you the evidences of my argument. Just like what we have learned in English during our
Grade 9 class, Argument is equal to opinion plus evidences. Any argument or opinion that has no
evidence cited is an invalid one. Thus, there are 4 biggest points that would defend my opinion.

Curfew makes teens out of trouble! YES, I definitely, reasonably, greatly believe that it is
an excellent way to help our kids get out of trouble.

First, many disturbances outside our home are present such as kidnapping, robbing, brawl
or fist fights, rape, worst is...killings. Of course, our parents will not be worried for us if we are
involved in these disturbances just because they know that we are in our home before the sun
sets. These would be prevented IF a curfew for us teens are implemented in our place.

Second, teens are expected to be at their houses right after the class ends. One reason is
they need to be home because they need to finish their assignments, projects or review. What's
the sense of our schooling if thess practices are not done? If they are doing this daily, rest
assured that the safety of these teens is achieved.

Third, looking in a wider perspectives, as soon as our president Duterte began his term,
he is employing the War on Drugs which we are all familiar with. Many teens are involved in
this program according to the statistics from the Philippine National Police. These would be
lessen if and only if these teens are properly guided by their parents that they should not be
outside of their houses before it gets dark.

Fourth and last argument, let's just end my argument with the most specific point,
according to the Public Relation Information Office of Atimonan, they are going to strengthen
the implementation for the Curfew hrs for the teens 18yrs old and below to secure they are safe.
This program is a mere fact, that the Local Government Units are supporting the campaign for
Curfew Hours for one main reason: to get the teens out of trouble. And if you don't believe on
this program, you are indirectly saying that these government is not making you safe which
makes you less patriotic. Let's support this curfew hours and be the change.
