Course Description This course is a study of the concepts of Art, its nature and development over time. It
focuses on the understanding and appreciation of the general perspective of art making;
how it affects one’s life and its dynamic interaction with the society.
Course Objectives Cognitive -to cultivate the student’s awareness and appreciation of the arts from various
mediums in relation to his/ her social world.
Affective - to assess the interrelationship among the arts and cross-cultural heritage
Psychomotor – to actually involve the students in activities through performance-based
activities
Christian Dimension – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
