Dear Laura
It was good to talk with you on the phone this morning. Please find attached, as promised, a short
report on the Promexpo conference. The report is in three parts.
First, I give some information on the other participants and the workshops which I attended. Most of
my comments are very positive.
I then go on to comment on our stand and sales materials. I’ve made a couple of suggestions for
next year. In short, I think we should invest in a slightly larger stand. We had the smallest available
and, as a result, it was sometimes overcrowded. I also feel we should have been more active on
social media both before and during the conference, in order to raise our profile a little more. The
conference was, nevertheless, a great success and, although the team was relatively new, I felt we
made a good impression.
The last section outlines the action points with visits and other follow-up meetings to be arranged.
Personally, I feel that each of us needs to follow up the contacts we made so as to maximise the
commercial value of the event. I realise, however, that that is not my decision and I will do whatever
Harish thinks is suitable.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing me to represent MMS at the
conference. It was a very useful experience for me, and being with Harish and Matt meant I could
learn a lot.
