I. Rationale/Value of the Activity
Filipinos experience a lot of calamities and disasters in the Philippines. Lately, typhoons,
earthquakes and even a volcanic eruption challenged the Filipino people on surviving these kinds
of calamities. During those kind of days, many are devoting themselves to help, serve and at least
care for those families who are affected. These are the Filipino people whom spiritual. Spirituality
is all about a person’s concern to others and even to his/her surroundings. This seminar focuses on
how we can be moral and be kind to our fellowmen. It will help us pursue a vision in which we
will commit ourselves in caring for others and not trying to exploit them. By this deed, it can lead
to a pathway of peace. This seminar is important for us, students, to acquire the necessary values
and attitudes and also to live in harmony not only for ourselves and others but the natural
environment as well. This will cultivate our hearts to welcome the other through religious
teachings and peace education in order to achieve equal love for everyone.
Education. So be it.

II. Expected Output

The seminars aims to reach beyond a mere spiritual dialogue in setting the stage to seek
educational solutions for the environmental crises of global proportions facing humanity today.
The specific purpose is to develop ideas for inclusive spiritual education in general and
understand how religions are simultaneously unify as well as divisive. This can be also a great
help to build a better understanding of core spirituality across religions. Lastly, this is also a way
to explore together how the unifying core spirituality can be harnessed for better education. Build
a network of like-minded people, grow spiritually and be inspired.
