Spear 150
High power engine (optional)
Spear 150 can be equipped with a more powerful engine of new technology, which will cost
additional USD15. The new engine employs improved technology of crankcase, cylinder,
cylinder head (including double air in-take for green environment purpose), camshaft, air
supply system, which enhanced its performance as follows:
1. Max power: increased 20% from 5.4kw to 6.5kw
2. Max torque: increased 25% from 7.6N.m to 9.5N.m
3. Emission is significantly reduced, which easily reaches Euro II standard
4. Temperature is reduced by 10% by using a sole patent technology, which makes the
engine more stable.
5. Safety is improved by using a sole patent technology which enlarged the brake shoe
diameter by 15% from Ф10x24 to Ф130x28. It shortened the braking distance and
increased braking friction.
6. Noise is reduced due to improvement made to the air supply system
7. Piston durability is improved by using spray finishing of graphite and supramoly as well
as good quality lubricant in order to reduce the friction of piston.
