Installation
1
Installation
This chapter describes how to install FactoryLink on Windows NT and Windows
95 platforms. Perform an initial installation if you have never installed
FactoryLink software on the destination before using one of two methods:
• Express Installation—Installs all licensed FactoryLink software modules.
• Custom Installation—Installs individual FactoryLink modules. As some options
depend upon others, an incomplete or incorrect group of choices could result in
an incompatible mix.
I NITIAL I NSTALLATION
Perform the following steps to install FactoryLink:
If using a network CD drive, map a drive letter to the network CD drive and enter
the path to that drive for the installation program.
6 Double click on the language you want to view the installation program in.
FactoryLink processes the language choice and displays the Welcome dialog.
