AT THE 3rd SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY TINGUB, MANDAUE CITY
HELD AT THE BARANGAY SESSION HALL, ON THE 4th OF AUGUST, 2018

RESOLUTION NO. 2018-05

ADOPTING THE MANDATE OF THE REPUBLIC ACT 10742 TO CELEBRATE THE LINGGO NG
KABATAAN IN CITY, MUNICIPALITY, BARANGAY AND PROVINCES

WHEREAS, the Republic Act No. 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015
provides in Chapter VI Section 33 paragraph (a) states that every province, city, municipality and barangay shall
conduct an annual activity known as the Linggo ng Kabataan on the week where the 12 th of August falls to coincide
with the International Youth Day. The SK, in the case of barangay, and the respective LYDC in cooperation with the
Pederasyon ng SK, in the case of province, city and municipality, shall take the lead in this observance.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tingub will conduct a one week celebration starting on August
19,2018 up to August 25, 2018.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tingub will conduct activities that will strengthen the bond of
the youths of Barangay Tingub through interactive activities that creates impact mentally, physically and
emotionally.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tingub entitles the activity as the 1 st Linggo ng Kabataan
Barangay Tingub Celebration that will be participated by the different Sitios of Barangay Tingub with a respective
color to represent their Sitios.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN to approve the adoption of the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration of Sangguniang Kabataan of Tingub,
Mandaue City;

APPROVED AND ADOPTED WITHOUT OBJECTION.
