Introduction
The new Global Training App (GT App for short) will serve as a central, mobile portal for accessing all Global Training con-
tent. The application is available in the form of a mobile website and does not have to be installed from app stores (known
as a "web app"). The GT App can be accessed with any terminal (PC, laptop, tablet PCs, smartphones).

 Personalization: A personal profile can be created for further functions such as a filter and search function, watch lists and

New "Training+" training format

The new "Training+" training format offers edutainment content targeted at the needs of various user groups/job profiles. It provides
a compact training format with brief learning modules on current topics. It also provides information and links to other content for
all departments and target groups.

 Operating systems: iOS version 8 or later, Android version 4 or later, Windows (Phone) 8
 Browser: Apple Safari, Google Chrome and IE11
PC / laptop

 Operating systems: Windows, MacOS

 Browser: IE10, IE11, latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari
Internet connection (WLAN recommended)

Adding the Logo to Your Home Screen
Enter the URL https://mobile.gt.mercedes-benz.com/home/ in the browser of your mobile device then carry out the following
steps:

Quick Navigation and Homepage

 You can access all areas of the GT App via the Navigation buttons along the top on the web browser (PC or Mac version) or
the bottom of the app (mobile phone version).

 You will see the latest content from the most important areas of Training+, CBT and AKUBIS® on the homepage—and this
information is already pre-filtered based on your profile settings.

My Training Page

My Training gives you a quick link to any current training you have in progress, including the completion percentage.

Additionally the latest news from all of the channels you have subscribed to will appear here. To subscribe to a channel select Show
all channels and the click the button for the channels you wish to receive news from.

At the bottom of the ‘My trainings’ page you will also see three tabs (as below)

Bookmarks

Any Training or news article you have set a reminder for will appear on this page.

Completed trainings

As you complete the Training+ offerings they will appear on this page

Saba

This button will take you directly to Saba. Please note, all AKUBIS® and CBT’s can be viewed in GT App but you will still need to
complete the Final Tests in Saba
Catalogue Page

The catalogue page gives you access to all of the different available offerings. At the top of the page you will be informed of all of
the latest offerings as they are released. The Complete catalogue gives you access to all the different types of offerings.

Training +

Here you will find all of the Training+ courses. You also have the ability to apply filters, so you will only see the courses relevant to
your interests.

All AKUBIS® videos can be accessed here

An overview of each Training program can be downloaded from here in PDF format

Catalogue Page

Training+ courses

There are currently two different types of Training+ courses available on the GT App - Compact courses and Sprints.

Compact courses are course made up multiple bitesize components, enabling learning to take plan in smaller chunks and a
shorter period of time. All modules of the learning must be completed, including the end test to complete the course; you can track
your progress as a percentage.

You can set a bookmark for any of the offerings by selecting the Reminder button

Catalogue Page

Sprints

Sprints are small quizzes designed to last no more that 60 seconds, testing your knowledge on a particular subject area.

Once you have completed the sprint, you are able to review your score and answers to see where your knowledge can be
developed.
Search Page

The Search page gives you the ability to search the whole of the GT App at once. You can search for Training+ courses, CBT’s,
AKUBIS videos, Downloadable documents, News and Training programs.

Forum Page

The Forum page gives you the opportunity to open discussions with your peers about Training and you experiences.

About Page

The About page contains all the latest news articles for the GT App and support documents for downloading. Please note, the con-
tact button on the About page currently contacts Global Training and not Training & Development in the UK.
