Introduction:

This Document explains the procedural steps for isolating PLB emergency lights circuit.

Purpose:

The procedure for the isolation of PLB emergency lighting circuit is developed for the TKAS team lead
technicians; so that during maintenance they can easily isolate the desired circuit.

 Procedure for Deactivating PLB Emergency Lighting Circuit

Step 1:

Press the List icon on the controller keypad.

Step 2:

Now below options will appear.

Step 3:

Scroll Down using down key on key pad & Select “Circuit setup“ by pressing OK button on Key
pad

Step 4:

Now select “deactivate SKU “

Step 5:

Now select desired PLB Circuit ( PLB L1 ) from “service” button on module.

 Circuit name will appear on the LCD screen.

Press “OK” button on Key pad to deactivate the selected circuit.

Now blinking red indication lights on module will indicate that circuit is isolated.

Step 6:

Check output voltages of the isolated circuit to ensure zero volts.

 To isolate the PLB L2 circuit; Scroll right and select desired circuit and repeat step 5 & 6.

 Procedure for Activating PLB Emergency Lighting Circuit
Step 1:

Press “service” button on module of deactivated circuit.

Step 2:

Press “OK” Activate the circuit.

 To activate the PLB L2 circuit; repeat step 1 & 2.

Lighting control panel is located in Electrical rooms near PLB rotunda on Apron level.
