PART 1: INPUT POINTS IN WORK IMMERSION
INTRODUCTION
Work Immersion program, provides students ‘real workplace’’ experience, giving students a set
of technical- vocational and livelihood skills that can help the make more informed career
choices nd improve their employment prospects.
Immersions prepare students for the real world by training them how to work in a company and
eventually excel in a specific career
Workplace experience will complement your academic studies by providing another way of
learning outside the classroom. It will also provide you with crucial knowledge, skills and
personal attributes that employers look for indeed.
One of the highlights of being Grade 12 student is to experience or undergo that so-called work
immersion in which, student are assigned to go out to different company based on their chosen
track to enhance and develop more their skills and capabilities. And to prepare us the life of
being employed.
We are four students in Humanities and Social Sciencw666es (HUMSS) 12 C was assigned to
have a Work Immersion in the City of Assessor and the other students had their work
Immersion other Government Offices. In every students, it is required for us to reach the given
hours before Christmas break.
OBJECTIVE OF WORK IMMERSION
serves as the internship program of the students who are soon will be stepping up in
college.
It improves and builds new skills. Immersions will have students gain new skill sets and
improve their existing capabilities. It is also through immersion that students get to
discover themselves and jumpstart their professional growth.
Students become good team players. A person who works well with others can go places.
Students who know this early on are better able to improve their communication skills
and can be an asset to the team in building projects.
Students become financially aware at an early age. By being exposed to the daily
operations of a real work environment, students learn how to think like an adult, manage
their finances effectively, and be exposed to acquiring other related skills such as
budgeting and marketing.
Students become goal-driven. Students have goals. Immersion trains them how to achieve
these goals by giving them an opportunity to work with and be supervised by
professionals and highly creative people. These people can inspire students to discover
their capabilities.
VALUES AND ATTRIBUTES OF STUDENTS IN WORK IMMERSION
As a former Senior High student of North Fairview High School, this are the attributes that I
have done in Work Immersion:
1. Responsible
In a work environment, there are targets to be achieved on a daily or monthly basis. As such, it is
important to do your part in the whole process. Ensure that you deliver your work with quality,
commitment and on time.
For example, if a certain project was given to you, do your research. Do it accurately. If there are
any difficulties, inform your supervisor ahead of time.
2. Adaptable
In a work environment, there are dynamic activities and processes.Be ready to accept change.
For an instance, due to lack of budget, you were assigned to find sponsorship for a marketing
event. You might want to learn how to network and how to negotiate in the process of asking for
sponsorship.
3. Professionalism
Even though you are just a student in a work immersion, it would be great to exhibit
professionalism. Come to meetings and work on time. Dress up properly. Watch your language.
Comply with company policies.
Work ethics is the set of work principles you live by. Show to your colleagues and supervisors
that you are dedicated to your job in the immersion. Avoid complaining about tasks given to you.
Be honest. Avoid giving excuses. Do not submit sloppy work. Stay focused on what need to be
done.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

efforts and attention in making this Work Immersion success.

Station assignment in Work Immersion.
To Mr. Michael Nazareth, North Fairview High School Focal Person for his encouragemet to
have a Work Immersion.

confidence in doing Work Immersion.
And above all, to our God the Creator who has always keeping us safe before and after the Work
Immersion , and to always give us Knowledge and Wsidom in our daily life and also while doing
this Work Immersion
THINK CRITICALY BEFORE YOU ACT
Like a fine wine, or writing a good book, anything worthwhile takes time. There are no
overnight success stories. If you believe in the school and what are you doing (as you should), do
not be deterred. Every person who has ever achieved anything of value has been told “no” and
Give yourself to prove your educational model. It will work. The resources and expertise
you commit to curriculum, teacher hiring and professional development, and assessment tool will
yield desirable results, but you have to go slow in order to go fast. If you start pushing replication
before you have a decent pool of data, you are building a house of cards without a solid
foundation.
