Title : - Optimizing Techniques for ZigBee Technology

Abstract :-

Zigbee is the new short-distance wireless network technology. This paper

proposed a few optimizing methods for enhancing the performance of zigbee
network. Also discusses the few applications in industrial sector and
comparison with the bluetooth technology.

WHAT I HAVE LEARN SO FAR:

This paper gives the information regarding methods for improving the
performance of ZigBee network. It includes Congestion control, Time
Synchronization, and improving the effective coverage range of ZigBee
network.

The congestion is inescapable hitch to data transmission mainly when the

network traffic increases. To minimize this problem we use ZigBee congestion
control frame (ZCCF) and ZigBee time congestion control (ZTCC) for efficient
data transmission.

Time synchronization is the need of most network application such as

wireless sensor network. Wireless sensor network is correlate diverse
measurement from a set of distributed sensor element and synchronous
clock for channel communication protocol. ZigBee also provide master-slave
network. Therefore, for that we put a Flooding time synchronization protocol
(FTSP) for time synchronization of mesh connected wireless sensor network.

For improving effective coverage range, we analyzed the factors that

influence coverage capability and the parameters setting about the network
scale.

UPCOMING THINGS:
Further, we can discuss about some applications of ZigBee technology and
comparison with the Bluetooth technology.
