CHAPTER V

SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter shows the brief summary of findings, the corresponding conclusions drawn
and recommendations offered and shared by the researchers with relation to the specific
objectives.

Summary of Findings

Based on the result of the study, it shows that majority of the respondents were female
with the frequency of 35 or 87.5 % .

From those who are employed, majority of the respondents were working at NGO/INGO
with the frequency of 10 or 33.33 %. In terms of job status, there were 13 or 43.33 % BEED
graduates who are permanent, 9 or 30 % are temporary and 8 or 26.67 % are contractual. When it
comes to the work designation, majority of the respondents were in the Mid-Level with a
frequency of 17 or 56.67%

In terms of the contribution of the program, to personal knowledge, skills, and attitude,
most of the respondents agreed that the program very much contributed to enhance academic
knowledge, improved problem-solving skills, improved learning efficiency, improved learning
efficiency, improved communication skills, improved information technology skills, enhanced
team spirit , improve emotional quotient, improve efficiency in building relationship, and
improve technological quotient .

On the other . hand, among the 10 statements listed, out of 40 respondents traced,
majority indicated that the program is much relevant to their present job .

Lastly, results of this tracer study revealed that the strengths of the program are on Area I
(Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives), followed by the Area III (Curriculum & Instruction)
and lastly, Area II (Faculty). On the other hand, the major weaknesses are the Area IX
(Laboratories) , Area VIII (Physical Plant Facilities), and Area V (Research).
Conclusions

Base from the results, the following conclusions were drawn:

Female respondents outnumbered the males. Most of the respondents were employed at
NGO/INGO and majority are permanent. Most of the employed respondents were in the Mid.
Level as their work designation.

Majority of the respondents agreed that the program very much contributed to their
present knowledge, skills and attitudes. When it comes to the relevance of the program, majority
indicated that the program is much relevant to their present job. Finally, the major strengths of
the program are its vision, mission, goals, and objectives, curriculum and instruction and the
faculty while the major weaknesses are the laboratories, physical plant facilities, and research.
