Classic backline USN backline setup (South dakota + Washington + Wildcard). South Dakota as flagship because she has the highest
survivability with washington's skill. Since Monarch and Washington barrages are single target nukes, and Enterprise is an aircraft carrier;
thus, flagship position is not necessary for any of them. Juneau at bottom which is the "most damage received" spot, allowing maximum
CN + JP utility of her heal skill to sustain the whole fleet. Aurora is a strong debuffer made to counter against DDs and CLs, providing extra damage
for HE main battery Saint Louis and Portland Kai. This is generally the best comp because both CAs has high survivability in terms of
evasion and HP pool in addition to Juneau. Also, they are immune to Aurora and Sendai debuffs. Important Note*: Main requirement for
this comp is that both CAs are evasion/speed stacked with HE main battery and LV120 is a must. Essex is the newest addition. The only
real advantage essex has is its counter against nakaga. (The position of shipfus within a square is not an indicator for higher rank)
South Dakota Washington Big E/Monarch/Centaur Juneau #1 Kai/Bfap/Aurora Louis/Portland Kai

CN + JP Same explanation as above for backline choice. Juneau and Yukikaze provide maximum backline endurance and Yukikaze is hard to kill.
Jintsuu and Aya Kai if you want to deal insane damage to enemy frontline with opening torpedoes. Aurora is a strong debuffer against light
fleets, and most pvp fleets are composed of light ships.

South Dakota Washington Big E/Monarch/Centaur Juneau/Jintsuu Kai #1 Kai/Bfap/Aurora Yukikaze/Aya Kai
Nagihoe/yuu. This composition mainly focuses on nagato and amagi. Nagato provides a strong IJN buff that increases IJN fire power, air
power, and accuracy. Amagi provides a strong debuff and buff that enhances friendly survivability. The concern is what that the third ship
should be. I believe taiho will be an adequate third choice. She is IJN, so she receives Nagato buff, which improves her air power to an
CN + JP acceptable standard. She does not suffer from other IJN CVs of having two in the same fleet. She is one of tankiest CVs in the game
(heavy armor and damage reduction against HE and air strikes). This tankiness is further enhanced by amagi's second skill. Nagato and
Amagi are very sad in terms of their AA. Having Taiho alleviates that by a little, though she only has two fighters. The frontline is pretty
standard. You can find them in USN comps. Juneau and Sandy Kai are great AA and healing platforms that further alleviates Nagato and
Amagi's sad sad AA stats. Yukikaze can be preferred over Juneau with her dmg reduction skill for backline and allow Amagi to fire her first
Nagato Amagi Taiho/Hiryu Kai Juneau/Ykkz/Seattle Sandy Kai Azuma/PR Louis volley 45% faster. PR louis is just PR louis.

North Carolina Akashi Vestal Seattle Sandy Kai Isuzu

If you are playing JP server or missed FW event for CN, this is your go to PvP composition. The backline is self explanatory. Nagato is
CN + JP mandatory for flagship due her buff requirement and akaga benefit from 20% air power buff. The frontline is torpedo and evasion debuff
+ EN heavy. Aurora provides an all time 20% evasion debuff against DDs and CLs and Sendai Kai drops a light flare (another 25% evasion
debuff against DDs and CLs) at 10 seconds into the match, lasting for 10 seconds. This synergizes exceptionally well with Akaga
preemptive strike since akaga launches strike at roughly 11 seconds in, which means they drop their load at enemy frontline with a 45%
evasion debuff advantage, yielding a high chance of clearing enemy frontline. Ibuki is also recommended in place of Sendai Kai if you are
a poor unlucky bastard like me who can't get or afford to retrofit Sendai, Ibuki is a good choice. She is the only ship in this game with 2
Nagato Kaga Akagi Sendai/Jintsuu Aurora Sirius/Ykkz/Ibuki preload torpedoes. Also, Ibuki is a heavy cruiser so she does not suffer from 45% evasion debuff.
A variation of above comp. Sendai is disposable after her first flare. Yukikaze's skills (reduce backline damage and extraordinary self
survivability) made this comp annoying for WASD comps to deal with. Overall, Nakaga comps are designed to "strike fast and hit hard".
Only Soryu and Hiryu Kai barrage will enjoy sendai debuff. Do note that you lose out the benefit from Sendai debuff when switching out
from akaga.
CN + JP What Akaga offers: fully benefit from sendai flare. Effective 818 and Ryuusei combo with nagato salvo timing.
What what soryu and hiryu offers: extra barrages. Only partial benefit from sendai debuff.
If you do not care about defense, Sirius is a great option for offense. Herself has 20% fire power buff and can use DD guns. In a fleet with
carrier focus, she provides juicy 10% damage increase and 10% HITRATE (not the accuracy stat) for carriers in the fleet.

Survivability: Standardized for BBs and CV/Ls. No HP recovery skill minus 0.25; DD secondary minus 0.25; Medium Armor minus 0.5;
No secondary minus 1; minus 0.25 for every 500 hp less than 8500 (for battleships).

Damage: Damage output. This parameter takes in account fire power and/or torpedo stats and barrage.
Accessibility How easy to obtain the ship. All event limited constructions have a rating of 2, and Priority Rare ships have between 1.5 to 2.
