the text’s characters or plot that symbolizes a key idea or theme from my book
● I can apply my learning by creating a poster that will display the
following specifics about my book and a review of it: ○ A rating of the book I read using a 0-5 (*) STAR scale ○ A recommendation paragraph that suggests that the book is a good or bad read ○ An analysis of the book’s text structure with an explanation of the organizational patterns the author used to write the text ○ A summary of the reading by writing a GIST of key ideas about the text ○ A listing or paraphrasing of likes and dislikes about the text ○ A suggested thematic statement b y considering the author’s intended message or life lesson
