Information redacted by Identity Malta

“The process to be followed by Organisations wishing to make use of the Single Permit online
will be as follows.

As an introduction, companies that wish to make use the Single Permit Online system need to
register the companies as Organisations with the e-ID system.

In the e-ID, Organisations do not have an account, username and password. Instead as
happens in real life, directors are allowed to act on behalf of the Organisation. The first person
who is assigned responsibility for the Organisation in the e-ID, is called the Organisation
Manager. The first requirement is for the Organisation Manager to obtain a personal an e-ID
account. Details to register for an e-ID Account can be found here.

With the personal e-ID Account, the director or authorized person can proceed to register
his/her company as an Organisation with the e-ID. The process to be followed can be found at
servizz.gov.mt.

In the example below, Joe Borg will register the company “Test Organisation One”. Before
proceeding the manager needs to have an e-ID account and a smart card reader.

Joe Borg (the manager) authenticates with mygov.mt using the ID Card and submits an online
application to register the organization “Test Organisation One”.

Back-office will process the application and do the necessary checks with MFSA etc. Joe Borg
needs to submit the forms as required by IDMO and shown here.

Once the application to register the Organisation has been approved, Joe Borg will receive an
email that he has been assigned as an Organisation Manager for “Test Organisation One”.

The manager will the login to mygov.mt and subscribe for the “Apply for Single Permit Online”
on behalf of “Test Organisation One”. This creates a subscription request from “Test
Organisation One” to access the service “Apply for Single Permit Online”.
Important: The user must select the Subscribe to eService link under the respective
Organisation

IMA will review and approve the request by “Test Organisation One” to access the service.

The manager will then login to mygov.mt and assign the service to either himself or to any of
the employees that will be responsible to submit applications online. To do this the manager
will click on the Manage eServices link under the organisation “Test Organisation One”. The
page below will be displayed.

The status of the Service must be Active and then Joe Borg can click on the Assignment link. If
the status of the service is still set to Pending, then the employer needs to contact DCEA.

The manager can either assign the eService to himself or to one employee, by selecting the
required name from the Employee drop-down and click on the Assign button. Employees can
be added by selecting the Employee tab. The manager will need to enter the ID Card No and
date of Birth followed by the Add Employee for every person he/she would like to add as an
employee to the Organisation.

Should the manager wish to assign the eService to multiple employees, e.g. to all persons
working in the Human Resource team, then a group must first be created by selecting the
Group tab, providing a Group Name e.g. HR and clicking the Created Group link.
Once the group has been created, then the manager will click on Employees link for the group,
and add any of the employees by selecting them from the Employee drop down and clicking
Add Employee link. Any employees in the group will get access to the Single Permit Online
service and can submit applications on behalf of the Organisation.

Joe Borg or any other employee assigned the eService can login to the Single Permit Online
and submit applications on behalf of “Test Organisation One”.

Once you have finished the process of the e-ID we will approve your request accordingly and
you can start submitting still abroad online applications through this link
