in developing and delivering lift, escalator and façade access solutions
across all sectors of the built environment.
 Consultancy Overview
Architecture is evolving rapidly with convoluted
building envelopes and maintainability is one of
the key aspects when detailing the iconic façade
and determines the budget attributed to the façade
package. Economical and effective maintenance
of the facade is a prime concern in the overall
design concept.
The development of a Façade Access solution is
a long term process and the building maintenance
strategy will be ongoing over the life of the
building. Façade cleaning and maintenance has
dramatically changed using bespoke systems
blended within the tight operating space whilst
meeting the ever increasing demand for lifting
façade panels and plant components during the
service life of the development.
Façade Access parameters are essential during
early design stages for interfacing with key
engineering disciplines particularly structural,
mechanical, facades and landscape ensuring that
the equipment are compatible with the building
design.
The diverse requirements for building access
systems highlight the importance of a totally
impartial and independent consultancy to identify
and resolve the specific requirements. As experts,

access systems whilst assisting the design
team in executing practical Façade Access and
Maintenance strategy within the cost plan.

of manufacture when the producer or supplier is
required to demonstrate that the product under
inspection is in conformity with the specification
and will be available for delivery as required by the
programme of works.
Commissioning
Witness site testing and sign-off satisfactory
completion of any installation.
Review / Audit
When considering refurbishment and retrofit
installations, the full scope of options and their
effect on the existing building structure must be
fully assessed and considered to arrive at an
optimal solution.

current codes, legislation and HSW Act and
practices to assess risk and ensure their continued
