Dedication

As well as everything that I do, I would be honor to dedicate this scrapbook to my parents
and to my grandma. The three persons that gave the tools and values necessary to be where I am
standing today. My parents support me on every step I make, and decision I take; but is necessary
to understand that they let me take my decisions alone in order for me to learn from my personal
mistake. I will never finish to thank my father and my mother especially my lola for all the
opportunities that they have offer and gave me, for all the teachings that they have told me and for
every advise that come out of their mouth. I am so graceful with them for trusting me that I would
do a Good job in the university, and letting me come to achieve a higher education.

So that’s why I dedicate this Portfolio to my parents and my grandma, whom expect my
effort on everything that I do, and without the inspiration, drive, and support that you have given
me, I might not be the person I am today.
Mom, Dad & Lola: I hope that I can make you proud, the same way that I am proud of having the
three of you as my guardian and as the compass of my life!

What I like most in English 7?

I like the activities, my group mates that makes the activities easy, our teacher
Sir lido that make every meeting fun.

What I hate most in English 7?

I kind hate the long composition to make, it’s taking all of my brain and it’s super hard to
do but it’s ok because without this hardship I will not make a great composition, IN THE FUTURE.

Unforgettable Moments
I could never forget when we had a graded recitation about “The Good Prince Bantugan”.It
was so much fun and I really can’t forget the time when we had a radiobroadcasting activity. The
time when Stephen mispronounced the last name of Mr. Lido.

collectively.”

First of all it would be very unfear if I start to post my final works by only giving credit to
myself and without mentioning all the persons that help me to developed, correct, polish and
improve on my work.
To start with I would like to thanks to all my classmates whom together we made the
elaboration of many peer reviews to help each other on different aspects such as grammar, topic
sentence, and many other things that we discuss in class. To my group for the First Grading, Second
and Third; I have no words to thank them for the magnificent mutual respect that we show to each
other on the different meeting that we had. We learn to work together, to not only hear others ideas
but to also accept them, and specially to understand each other strengths in order to distribute the
amount of work in a efficient way.
To my English teacher Mr. Lido C. Manicane I had no words thank him for the amazing
work he did with my classmates and me. From hard lectures, readings, grammar, punctuation, to
his personal experiences; all this journey in order to achieve the goal of being better students. The
patience, dedication and way of teaching and speaking that he had with each one of us is something
to admire. I wanted to thank him especially for always being so able ask any type of question, and
always for sending his feedback and comments on EACH WORD AND LINE of our drafts. Sir
Lido: You make me understand something very important for life that I will never forget: I should
never be afraid of expressing out loud my opinion, since is mine and it could never be wrong. Each
of us has a different way of thinking and seeing the world, and as long as we support with good
and valid argument our points of views, we’ll do fine

Self Concept
Simplicity, sincerity and love has no parallel in human life. The one who possess all of it, never
fails in life. A kind, sincere and passionate girl is what precious gift in the face of a boy or girl, a
student, a daughter, a mother, wife or any one.

That’s to say, these all virtues are needed to learnt from one’s childhood. Therefore, I always value
sincerity, kindness and dedication of purpose in my life. This is what my parents have taught me
to keep it the single goal in my life.

Myself Riane Lei Visca Guarda. From the city of Calbayog or known as City of Water Falls. I am
a 7th Grader at Calbayog City National High School. It is one of the best school in my city. I’ am
clingy, lazy, sensitive, moody, and a spoiled girl.

As the saying goes, “Family is the best thing you could ever wish for. They are there for you
during the ups and downs and love you no matter what”.

Contrary to this saying, we cannot choose our family as we choose our friends. But I can say that
I’m blessed with a wonderful family. My family is very small with four members – my mother,
my father, my elder brother and me. My family is a middle class family and my father is officially
the bread winner of our family. My mother supports him financially by taking tuitions for school
children.

We do not have much money or wealth but what my family has in abundance is love for each
other which cannot be replaced by anything else in this world. My father and my mother are the
role models to my brother and me. They struggle a lot to give us a better life. More than anything
they have taught us discipline and morals of life which is helping us to lead our lives in a righteous
path even today.

My hobby is dancing. Dance is more than just a sport, it’s a passion. Dance is something you
work hard for, something you put all of your spare time and effort into. Dance is a sport that you
never want to give up on. I like to eat, read, listening to music, to sleep. I hate it when someone
is backstabbing me.
