received from one of the readers.

My Mum’s really winding me up. On the one hand she’s

always asking me to help out, do things in the house, look
after my little brothers for her so she can go out and do
the shopping and things.

But when I go out with my friends and have a good time

she gets protective and makes a fuss about me staying
over at parties and rings me on my mobile if I’m even one
minute late home. Now I want to go with a crowd of
people to camp at a festival and she won’t let me.

How can I be old enough to look after the kids when she
says I’m not old enough to look after myself?
