8. Does 1769-AENTR has a built-in Web Server?

Yes, 1769-AENTR has a built in web server for display of diagnostic information
and configuration of network parameter.

9. How could the customer enable the built in Web server?

The web server will be disabled by default from factory. The web server is
enabled by a manual administrative function, as described in the steps below:
1) The Module is powered up with the IP Address switches set to “000.” In
this state, the module is inoperative and the Module LED is flashing RED.
2) The switches are set to a value other than “000” or “888”
3) The module is power cycled. When the module completes power up, the
web server will be enabled with the password set to a device unique value
which consists of the 8 character ASCII representation of the 32 bit CIP
serial number assigned to the device.
4) If this administrative procedure is performed while the web server is
already enabled, the web server will continue to be enabled and the
password will have been reset to the default value for that device (CIP
serial number).
The above information can also be found in the EtherNet/IP Network
Configuration User manual: ENET-UM001

12. Does it support class 1 and class 3 messaging?

Yes. It supports up to 30 I/O connections. There is a limit of 1 exclusive owner

connection or 1 listen only connection per module depending on IO module type.
No other class 1 connection types are supported (i.e. – no rack optimized so all
