I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of: contemporary Philippine literature
as a means of responding to the demands of the global village; appropriate and
polite oral language, stance, and behavior; use of wh- questions.
B. Performance Standard The learner transfers learning by: showing ways of asserting one’s identity; using
lexical and contextual clues to understand unfamiliar words and expressions;
using appropriate and polite oral language, stance and behavior in various
information-sharing formats.
C. Learning At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:

about valuing the past for the benefit of the future. Write it on a piece of
cardboard. Design the cardboard and cut it as to the size of a bookmark. Put a
ribbon on it. Feel free to add more deigns for a better output.
