Situation:
One breakfast time, the following were on the table, Dried fish, egg, vinegar, a glass
of milk, rice, sauce, plate, spoon and fork. The milk accidentally spilled on the vinegar. The spilled
milk curdled, you were surprised of what happend. Devise a simple experiment to explain what
happened.

I.Obejectives:
To get the chemical reaction of milk and vinegar.
II.Materials:
Spoon, Glass of milk and vinegar

III. Observation/Discussions

1.) What is the problem?

2.) Give some hypothesis to answer the problem?

3.) Choose one hypothesis: Describe what you will do to test that hypothesis?

4.) What is your generalization regarding the problem based on the experiment you designed?

Albert Einstein (1879–1955) Revolutionised modern physics with his general

theory of relativity. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics (1921) for his discovery of the
Photoelectric effect, which formed the basis of Quantum Theory.

Sir Isaac Newton (1642–1726) Newton was a polymath who made

investigations into a whole range of subjects including mathematics, optics,
physics, and astronomy. In his Principia Mathematica, published in 1687, he laid the
foundations for classical mechanics, explaining law of gravity and the laws of motion

Marie Curie (1867–1934) Polish physicist and chemist. Discovered radiation

and helped to apply it in the field of X-ray. She won the Nobel Prize in both
Chemistry and Physics.

Microscopes-A compound microscope allows

the user to view specimens too small for the
human eye to discern. Slides hold the
specimen and often come prepared and
stained ahead of time.

Graduated Cylinder -A graduated cylinder is a
relatively slim glass or plastic cylinder used
specifically for calibrating beakers or
measuring a liquid's volume. Graduated
cylinders come in a variety of sizes such as 10
ml, 25 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml.
Scientists take measurements by viewing, at

feature a flared lip to make pouring easier.
Magnifying Glass- Uses one lens to make things
look larger.

Erlenmeyer Flask- Glassware used to heat and
