History

The discipline that studies the chronological record of events (as affecting a nation or
people), based on a critical examination of source materials and usually presenting
an explanation of their causes.

Anthropology
Anthropology is a scientific and humanistic discipline devoted to improving our
understanding of human culture and diversity. This includes exploring relationships
between the human past and the present as well as between the biological and
social components of our species. Anthropology is the study of people—their origins,
adaptations and ecology, distribution, customs, languages, and social and religious
beliefs.

Political science
Is a classical discipline that deals with the study of political phenomena. Its goal is to
deepen human understanding of the forms and nature of political action and to
develop theoretical tools for interpreting politically meaningful phenomena.
The discipline deals with the traditional fields of public national life, such as
democracy, parliaments, politicians, elections and the government. However,
modern politology is not limited to what takes place at the level of the state.

Difference of History from Anthropology

 Anthropology is the study of human beings and history is the study of history
and civilizations of human kind. History is the wide area of study in which
anthropology acts as the subdivision of the same.

 History is the study of history and civilization aspects of human kind whereas
Anthropology deals with the holistic and real nature of humans.

 History involves analyzing and evaluating certain events where as

Anthropology identifies the behavior and associations of human beings.

 The main aim of History is to identify the past of humans whereas

anthropology discovers the true nature of human beings.

Difference of History from Political Science

 A history contributes to a deep understanding of the cultural and historical
context of political decisions, social movements, and cultural shifts over time.
On the other hand, a political science focuses primarily on past and current
events through the lens of politics.
