TITLE: INTRODUCTION TO BJT AMPLIFIERS
2. Introduction:
BJT amplifiers stands for bi polar junction transistor amplifiers. There are the
amplifiers which amplifies the signal and we get the output from the collector terminal and
with the 180-degree phase inversion with respect to the input voltage. The BJT amplifiers,
gets the input voltage in the form of alternation (ac) and have the dc voltage source which
makes it the voltage divider bias configuration. Due to the interference of ac and dc level
we get the in phase voltage and current in the base as well as in the emitter terminal and
also get the 180 degree out of phase signal at the collector terminal (collector current is the
in phase with the base current while the collector voltage is the in phase and the amplified
voltage with respect to the base voltage:

b. Explanation:
The amplifiers work on the amplification of thee input voltage Vb at the output terminal of
C of the transistor. We have to connect the VCC in order to reverse the collector base junction and
to forward biased the base emitter junction. This VCC also has the characters like IE which is used
in re (the input resistance of the amplifier). From the DC analysis of the transistor, we get the
current IE from the voltage divider configuration because it is the most stable and the most efficient

6. Component lists:
• Connecting wires
• Transistor (npn)
• Resistors (6.8k ohm, 22k ohm, 560 ohm, 1k ohm, 2.2k ohm, 8.2k ohm)
7. Software components:
• PSpice software
8. Conclusions:
From this lab we have seen that the we can use the BJT amplifiers in order to amplify the
signal and also we have seen that by applying the input voltage we get the output from the collector
which is the out of phase signal to the input voltage. And the input current is also the in phase with
the output current. But major function of the amplifier Is to amplify the voltage. And there will be
the difference in the measured and the calculated values in the software due to resistance offered
by thee wire and the other components in the oscilloscope
