PAPERLESS EXAMINATIONS
All basic and type examinations must be conducted “Paperless” through a customized software
Instructions for Examination
Bags, calculators, books, charts, mobile phones, iPad, and any other digital devices are not allowed in
examination room
Photographic proof of identity must be placed on the desk
Candidates are not permitted to bring pen or pencil in the Examination Room.
Candidates found cheating shall be banned from taking any further examination within 12 months of that
examination date
The examination passing mark is 75%
Retake of an examination shall be allowed in following cases only:
A failed basic module (90 days after attempting it)
Absence from/failure in type course phase test (30 days after attempting it)
Note: Absence in Type course phase test, without permission or a valid reason will be considered as
Failed
Only two Retakes will be allowed for all courses, except for type courses and basic modules
Further training of a trainee will be ceased forthwith and he/she will have to re-attend the complete type
course if the trainee fails:
Any four consecutive phases of the type course
For basic examination, Question Database (QDB) must contain atleast 6 times the total number of
question to be asked in that particular examination.

For type training course examination, Question Database (QDB) must contain atleast 4 times the
total number of question to be asked in that particular examination

INSTRUCTOR who will deliver ANO-066 module, Involved into the drafting of the course material and
organization of the lessons, creation of notes, slides, etc
EXAMINER determine the level of theoretical knowledge of trainees, Involved in the drafting , selection of
questions (MCQs and Essays), the evaluation of the correctness of answers (QPA)
PRACTICAL ASSESSOR : A person, who will determine the level of practical knowledge/practical skills
of the trainees on a particular module/ element
All instructors, examiners and practical assessors, must have completed:
PCAA approved “Train the Trainer (TtT)” course, understanding of ANO-066 and ANO-147 regulatory
requirements. practical working knowledge of the Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE)
and associated training procedures. (TPM)
