AMOCO CORPORATION EXPERIENCE

Environment, Health and Safety (10 years) Managed the Cooper River Plant (Charleston, SC) Department with responsibilities including
‘traditional’ EHS issues (e.g., permitting, permit compliance, OSHA 1910.119 process safety oversight, personnel safety and industrial
hygiene, fire protection, emergency response including spill and medical response, etc.), but also including site management for the 6,000
acre location, community outreach, crisis communication, and site security. Typical staffing level: 10 (including 4 direct reports).

Other management experience included heading the corporate Product Stewardship group in Chicago, with responsibility for
generating/revising and distributing MSDSs for Amoco’s products worldwide. Typical staffing level: 12 domestic and one foreign direct
reports.

Individual contributor environmental: Internal consultant to facilities on contaminated soils management programs, due diligence issues,
RCRA and Special Waste issues; and development of facility-level EHS Management Systems, consulting proposals, and spill programs
(e.g., SPCC).

Individual contributor safety: Principal safety engineer for seventeen manufacturing locations in Amoco’s Foam, Fabrics, Engineered
Plastics, and Container operating companies. Provided project and technical service help, and conducted site audits for safety and hygiene
compliance. Responsibilities included reinforcing good site practice, and identifying and selling recommendations for program
improvements to reach corporate and/or regulatory requirements, and coordinating recommendations’ implementation. Conducted a legally
privileged corporate safety audit of six major plants.

Engineering (10 years) Chief Mechanical Engineer for the Cooper River Plant; managed all project and technical service activities in
the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. Responsibilities included all aspects of personnel and project oversight
supervision, capital budgeting including authorization and cost administration, design, troubleshooting, and principal liaison with corporate
engineering and contracted engineering consultants. Typical staffing level: 14 (including 5 direct reports).

Management experience at Amoco’s Alabama facility: supervised the Inspection and Quality Assurance Group. Responsible for all
aspects of plantwide equipment inspection and failure analysis, development and interpretation of the plant’s Engineering Specifications,
and development of a rotating equipment predictive maintenance program. Typical staffing level: 5 direct reports.

Experience with pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, steam and inert gas generation, water and wastewater
treatment, fluidizing and dust collection, and high alloy materials of construction.

Manufacturing (10 years) Operations supervisor for different production areas, including process, utilities, and wastewater treatment
units. Responsible for all aspects of operations. Various special assignments as the Plant Representative on major capital project work.
Acted as principal consultant on three foreign licensee projects, one (TEMEX) with contractor office residency in Mexico. Typical
staffing: 24 (including 4 direct reports).

play and problem resolution of two 18 hole golf course operations.
