PROJECT PROPOSAL

TITLE: “SAVE EARTH: PLANT TREES, FOR A BETTER NATURE,

FOR A BETTER LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY – CWTS 2 TEAM
PEONY TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY 2020 on the GO”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We depend entirely on a health natural environment for our wealth and well-
being. It is vital to our economy and social structures, our homes and
neighborhoods, our capacity to construct things, and to our health and happiness.
The protection and preservation of the environment is one of the important issues
facing humankind today, which we always ignore. As the human activities, the
natural environment is being destroy, so we have the responsibility to save them.

Hence, there is a need for a collaborated effort between the State and its
citizenry to combat the loss of our natural resources and rejuvenate our
environment by undertaking tree planting activities and providing effective
measures for their maintenance and sustainability.

Therefore, this program would be implemented in the Barangay Magang,

Daet, Camarines Norte in order to increase the amount of trees in the locality. The
seedlings to be used were provided by the barangay. This activity would be useful
in the barangay since trees are said to be beneficial not only in preventing floods
and landslide but also prevents the worsening results of global warming. This
program would be implemented in the barangay at the site that the barangay
officials would permit the students to the planting.

OBJECTIVES:

The general purpose of the project is to improve the environment of the locality.
Toward this end, the following objectives are set:

 Inculcate among participants the value of community service and social

responsibility
  Install among participants the importance of protecting and preserving the eco-
system
 Connect participants and residents of the barangay to the benefits of trees and
foster environmental stewardship

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:

Transportation 15 participants x ₱20 - ₱ 300.00

Snack 15 participants x ₱20 - 300.00
TOTAL ₱ 600.00

MECHANICS

The mechanics are as follows:

1. The participants of the tree planting activity should be at the waiting area before
the designated time.
2. Plants/trees to be planted are already prepared in the area. The seedlings to be
used were provided by the barangay.
3. They should bring materials for planting like bolo, mini shovel, etc.
4. The participants should make a tree guard to protect the trees.
5. Each participant will be given a permit/waiver.
6. BPSO of Barangay Magang will be assisting the participants for security purposes.
