TEACHING STRATEGIES

Strategies Used Procedure

1. Questioning Techniques After letting the students watch the video

on “Musical ensemble of the Philippines,
the teacher asked questions in order for the
students to think critically. They share to
the class what they have observed, what
they have felt and what are the values they
have learnt upon listening and watching
the video.
2. Lecture Method The teacher used this strategy to put
emphasis on the said knowledge and
concept of the lesson about the Music of
Cambodia and Myanmar.
3. Think-Pair-Share By pair, the teacher asked the difference of
“Locomotor and Non Locomotor
Movement” and students think quietly
about it for a minute or two. After that, they
share to the class the thoughts they have
gathered from each other.
4. 2 Pics 1 word The teacher flashed 2 pictures and 1
jumbled words about the different
“Training Principles and FITT Formula”
and put jumble words under it. The student
guesses the word by analyzing what the
pictures portrays.
5. Video Analysis After the lesson, the teacher presented a
video about the “Pinpeat Ensemble of
Cambodia, SIdaw and Saung Ensemble of
Myanmar”. She used this strategy in order
for the students to understand better and
be able them to visualize the different
musical instruments.
