Major Benefits of Technology on Teens

Technology, the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes usually in

industry, has become a part of people’s daily lifestyle; mostly teens. According to the Pew survey
conducted between 2014 and 2015, 94% of teens uses technology in their daily life which worries
the older people. An old man named George said in an filmed interview produced by Gary Tuk,
“They’re wasting their life away.” On the other side, technology has benefits for teens that helps
them in their life as they grow.

Mobile Applications or an App are the type of application software designed to run
mobile devices, these apps on a smartphone serves a big role in the technology. Apps helps the
teens to be updated with the latest happenings on the economy and by connecting they could
improve understandings on the economy. They could also do the same with a Television, a system
for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, through watching the
news broadcasted by reporters. Technology has the benefit to inform teens that helps them be
updated and improve their analysis and understandings.

Communication is also improved by Technology with the invention of Social Media

where people connects without having physical connection. 41% of teens spends an average of 9
hours a day online (Common Sense Media et al., 2018) by connecting online. According to
Caroline, 1 out of 4 teens says social media makes them feel important and they we’re able to
express themselves more. Technology has the benefit to develop communication skills and self-
expression.

Machines are parts of Technology are equipment with several moving parts that uses
power to do a particular type of work, there are types of machines that are made for human’s need
like washing machine, printer, and etc.; and that made the teens’ work easier and convenient. There
are also machines that are made for entertainment for people especially teens such as arcades that
gives fun to those who uses it that made the life of the younger generation more enjoyable.
Technology has the benefit to make life easier and happier.

The technology has changed our lives for many years, it helps us in many ways that
improves teenagers by how they can gather information that improves their own understanding
through gadgets, how they can communicate so easily that improves their communication skills
and self-expression on using online sites, and how their life became more convenient and enjoyable
with machines that proves living with technology gives benefits.
