 ABSTRACT
The Project Supermarket Management System
deals with the automation of supermarket. It
includes both sales and purchase of items. The
project Supermarket Management System is
developed with the objective of making the system
reliable, easier, fast, and more informative. There is
a lot of reason for the introduction of this project.
In the manual System, there are number of
inefficiencies that a salesperson faces. Large
records-books have to be maintained where
relevant and irrelevant information has to be stored
which is very untidy and clumsy process. But our
System reduces paper works. On the other hand,
there are many inherent problems that exist in any
manual system. Usually, they lack efficiency. Less
efficiency has a great impact on the productivity of
any human being keeping the data up-to-date.
The different modules included in our
project are administrative module, sales module
and billing module. Administrator allocates unique
username and password to the employees. Each
employee can login with the help of his/her unique
id and password. Purchase and Sales module
contains all the purchase and sales details. All the
payment details will be shown in the Billing
module.
INTRODUCTION
Detailed design starts after the system design
phase is completed. The goal of this phase is to
develop the internal logic of each of the modules
identified during the system design. In a design
document, a more detailed specification is given by
explaining in natural language what a module is
supposed to do. The design level in which the
internal design of the modules, or how the
specification of the module can be satisfied, is
decided, is often called detailed design or Logic
design. Detailed design essentially expand the
system design to contain a more detailed
description of the processing logic and data
structures so that the design is sufficiently complete
for coding. Detailed design is an extension of the

Administrative Module
Structure of the Software Package:-
User: The user may be Administrator and
Employee.
Process ID & Password: Takes the ID and
Password from the user and passes it to the user
master for checking the similarity.
Modules of components:-
1. Search: This module is used to search any
record from any database. In this we can get
particular record for our use.
2. Modify: After searching we can use the modify
module. Here we can modify the any searched
record for our convenience.
3. View: Under this module we can view the any
database record in our form.
4. Delete: As name itself indicate that this module
is used to delete particular record from database.
5. Save: As name itself indicate that this module is
used to save any particular record into our
database.
6. New: As name indicate that this module is used
to add any particular record into our database.
7. Print: This module is used only in billing form.
8. Close: Every form contains this module. This
module is used to close the any opened form in the
screen.
Employee Module:
In employee module we are providing the preform
of records and its layout.
An employee management system is designed to
simplify the process of records maintenance of
employees in an organization.
It helps in managing the information of employees
for documentation purpose.
In general employee module is a part of a
comprehensive human resource system.
By this we can make growth in proper distribution
of works to the respective worker as on basis of its
working feedback.
In this layout we get the generation of requisite
information like:
-Professional information
-Personal information
-Work feedback
NOTE: In this, the work feedback was given on
the basis of quality of work done he/she perform.
Feedback format:
On the basis of feedback the work is been
distributed under the guidance of admin.
 3) Reduce the un-necessary workers for such
particular job like for only data entry.

Main advantages of employee module:

1) Reduce the confusion of working method.
FEEDBACK: 2) By this one can maintain the decorum and
proper orientation of firm.

How to perform the feedback?
1) The admin maintain the records of the gained
profit as per month.
2) By the help of records admin allots the work to
particular employee and observe the performance
of employee on allotted work.
3) Then he will write the feedback form on the
basis of work performance of employee.
4) By the feedback we can easily distribute the
workers as per there previous performance
Main advantages of administrative module:
1) Minimize the work load of maintaining
records.
2) Helps to the administration for
maintaining the profile of employee for
future reference.
