Statement of Purpose

(Letter of Motivation to Study M.Sc Leadership and Human Resource Management)

I,Rana Muhammad Ahsan, belong to an educated family in Pakistan that has clear focus on the
successful academic and professional career. My family's academic culture has always been a great
source of inspiration for me to surpass in my life and become successful personnel (both academically
and professionally). I have always been a spirited, energetic and passionate student. My enthusiasm has
won several times appreciations by worthy teachers, friends and family.
I havecompleted Secondary School Certificate from Govt. High School, Qutabpur Sadat in2008. Then, I
did my Higher Secondary School Certificate from BISE, Multan in year 2010. Afterwards, I got my degree
of Bachelor’s in Commerce in the year 2013 and then I took a degree of MSc in Information Technology
(equivalent to 16 year education) from University Of Education Lahore-Pakistan in 2015. I also did some
short courses in database management and web development in 2015. After completing MSc-IT, I did 06
months internship in database management in Chase Computers. After I started my job with MIHS as
business analyst. It was a dream start of my professional career because during studies I always looked
business with information technology lens. I firmly believe information technology can do wonders to
business growth if properly implemented. During my job I felt good with technology concepts and
applications but there is something missing with respect to management concepts . During my bachelors
I have limited exposure to commerce subjects and practical side is missing so I decided to uplift my skills
and started searching a program which best suited for me according to my future ambition. During my
research I found Master’s in Leadership and Human Resource Management at GISMA Business School,
the course is so well designed and organized I instantly made a decision to pursue this course.

Before deciding to study in Berlin (Germany), I made in-depth research (on internet with trustworthy
resources like blogs, websites) about well-known international study destinations (e.g. US, Canada, UK
etc) and after satisfaction, selected Berlin (Germany) as one of the most appropriate study destination
for me to advance my education. For this, I also met with many of my teachers and got their esteemed
comments. They also encouraged me to study in Berlin (Germany) as its educational system is world-
wide renowned for quality education, particularly in Professional Management. German universities
deliver practical and career-orientated education so that graduates can perform managerial level skills in
their particular professional careers.

I have made thorough research about Masters of Leadership and Human Resource Management course
in the reputable universities and colleges of Pakistan, and found that none of the Pakistani University.
Majority of universities offer programs in combinations of business, management & economics (not in
Professional Leadership and Human Resource Management). I hope to deepen my international
perspective, sharpen language skills, and refine knowledge of professional management while studying
in Berlin (Germany) and contribute to the development of my country's economy.

during study. There is no discrimination between genders/people from different ethnic backgrounds.

Berlin is among world's most livable cities. It is the capital of Germany and best known due to seat of
President of Germany.
Pre-requisite for Enrollment: The four macro-skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening; study
skills, research skills, note-taking skills and tutorial presentations. It also has a component of broader
academic skills including awareness of German academic culture and critical analysis, which will help my
future academic needs.

For this I need to have the following knowledge, abilities and skills, including: Strong understanding of
Managerial principles, Ability to work independently, Ability to develop and establish managerial policies
and procedures, Ability to efficiently direct and supervise, Knowledge of operating and capital budget
concepts, Ability to analyze data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely manner. I have therefore
decided to study Management and Leadership as it will prepare me with the required knowledge and
expertise to achieve my goals.
Expected Salary being Professional Manager / Leader:The expected monthly salary of a typical Business
Analyst / Consultants is,about US$ 1500~2000 in leading national or multinational company in Pakistan.
In Masters of Leadership and human Resource Management course, I'll learn how to make the accurate
decisions that affect an organization's planning, control and performance. I'll learn about selling and
buying company shares, managing and providing goods & services. The course offers a strong academic

The degree will give me a combination of technical and practical skills, and help me to build my career in
business consultancy field and lead me to become successful working professional.

Social Ties to Pakistan: My family in Pakistan is a great source of attraction for me to come back within
appropriate period of time. I love my country so proudly call it home. My personal, social, and economic
ties to Pakistan are strong enough. I live in the city of Lodhran and Multan; and there is no military
service commitment in my city. My Family assets are more than 100 million PKR. Lodhran is
approximately 40 miles away from Multan and most of our agriculture land is situated there. Multan is
one of the oldest city in Pakistan and has rich history. Multan is major industrial and agriculture center in
south Punjab. In recent times Jobs opportunities are blooming as main artery of China Pakistan
EconomicCorridor is passing though and special economic zones will be operated. Consequently, for me
the value of Masters of Leadership and Human Resource Management degree course from Berlin
(Germany) has great career and economic prospects in Pakistan in term of higher job position and
handsome monthly income.

About intentions: Travelling and meeting new people is my passion and is one of the reasons why I
selected a degree offered in a country far from my home. Meeting new people, culture, new world and
new places will not only quench my thirst for travel but I will return home with extensive social skills as
well. I respect visa policies of Berlin (Germany) and have no interest in prolonging my stay in the
country.

I declare to obey visa conditions in Berlin (Germany). I have no attraction to commercial opportunities
in Berlin (Germany). I have no objectives to prolong or apply for protection visa under no circumstances
following my arrival in Berlin (Germany). I have never been involved in any violation or violence of law.

Pakistan and no interest to establish relationship with any political organizations.

About sponsor / Financial Suitability: My father has sponsored me for my study and living expenses in
Berlin (Germany). He is an agricultures and landlord and has sponsored me PKR 3.00 Million in my
personal account (at Faysal Bank) to bear the outstanding costs of my fee and living expenses for two
academic years in the Berlin (Germany). Entire financial documents are attached with the application

To conclude, I have the right amount of interest in proposed course as a subject and the potential for
success to achieve what I want. I believe to have the determination to complete this course successfully
and fulfill my ambition to become a true managerial resource in the field of professional Leadership. It is
therefore requested to allow me studying in Berlin (Germany) to get quality education. I further
undertake that no other intensions to stay in Berlin (Germany) than my studies and my credentials
(academic & financial) can assure you that I will return to Pakistan after completing my studies.
