BOARDROOM GAME

The game focuses on corporate planning and
strategy.
Compete against other companies in a simulated

market.

The general process is to enter your company's
operating and strategic decisions for a given period.
At last your decisions are evaluated by comparing

with the competitors.

Interface
Important interface

There were varios decisions which we were
suposed to take like:

-production decision:- Decisions regarding the plant
capacity, maintenance investment, and production
volume of the product.

-Financing decision:- In this we have to pay
dividend alongwith buyback of shares.

Sales decision:- CSO has to take decisions
regarding opening and closure of company owned
showrooms.
Important interface

-Marketing decisions:- Decisions regarding the


advertising budgets , media channels.
-R&D decisions:- Development of product.
CSR activities.
Round 1 to 5
• In round 1 no decision has been taken because we
were watching the market conditions.
• In round 2 we have increased the production and
purchase plant and machinery and that decision is
not good for the company.
• In round 3 we have increased our advertisement
budget for both T7HI and T7EI.
• In round 4 we again increased the production and
increase the saled force and purchased plants
again wrong decision .
• In round 5 we have taken decision regarding the R&D
and at the end of round our share price was 17.4.
Round 6 and 7

We had increased the CSR activity to 5.



Sales growth was high as compared to the previous
year and the number of plant was 40.

We were focusing more on internet shares under
geeks.
Also decreased the newspaper budget .

The share price in 6th and 7th round was about 17.7%

ROUND 8

In round 8 there was an order issued by the NPB
and they levied a penalty of rs 10,000,000.

There was one more order issued by SCII (supreme
court of industry inaction and they have levied a
penality of Rs. 25,000,000.)

There was an emergency loan which was taken by
our company so because of that we were not
allowed to make many changes .

Round 9
• In this round we decreased our plants and sales force
in low earners .
• We gave discounts to special stores and increased the
sales force .
• We also did CSR activity which was 350000.
• We were not able to pay dividends because of
emergency loan .
• Also made changes in advertising budgets .
• In this round our share price was 8.4.
ROUND 10
• We had spend 400000 Rs. on the CSR
activities and it was the highest spend in
the market
• We had not spent any amount on the research
and development.
• Moreover we had taken an emergency loan of
rs 343,258,768 and because of this we
were not able to take decisions.
• At the last round our share price was
decreased to 8.
