Procedures
The class starts with:

 Prayer

Introductory Activity  Attendance Check

10 minutes  Recap on previous lesson.

Start the lesson by showing a short video clip of The Power of Personal Declarations

Process questions:

 What idea or ideas come into your mind about the video shown?

 Let the students explain their idea/s

TS: Base on the video, what is our lesson?

Let them read the “Power of Personal Declarations” found at page 26-27 in the LM and
Activity They have to create their own personal declarations that will lead them to be responsible
adolescents. Instruct them to write on their journal note book.
15 minutes
TS: Sample of Personal Declaration; I’m a Courageous, Open and Worthy Man.

 Let the students answer the following questions:

1. Why declarations came from others concerning our own lives is dangerous?
Analysis
2. Could you imagine how life without personal declarations is?

Possible response: 1.This is dangerous declaration because it sets into motion the
actualization of an unwanted occurrence for the reason

 The teacher will do the discussion on the following:

 The importance of personal declarations.


Abstraction
 The ways of being happy.

Ask: Do you have any clarification/s on the discussion? Do you now found out the power of
personal declarations ?
Possible Answer: Personal declarations are meant to encourage us (middle and late adolescents)
to take control of the influences in our life. They are suggestions as to what positive things we can
speak about our own life instead of accepting whatever has been said about us of the watching
public.

Application  Write an essay about the significance of having a personal declaration in life which leads
individual to become lovable and acceptable adolescents.

 Research what does stress mean and it’s sources. Write it in your journal.
