How to calculate mod without using mod function !

Method 1:

263 mod 14

1) Divide 263/14 = 18.785714285714285714285714285714

Now subtract the whole number from the answer

2) 18.785714285714285714285714285714 – 18 =0.78571428571428571428571428571429

Now multiply is by Modulo i.e. 14

3) 0.78571428571428571428571428571429 * 14 =11

Method 2 :

1) Divide 263/14 = 18.785714285714285714285714285714

use whole number to multiply with modulo and subtract it from
2) 263-(18*14)

If calculator calculates function after whole equation is written you do in one step
