SUBJECT: IL02 – Flagging a Functional Location for Deletion

NOTE: Prior to using this OPL, :


A: All FL BOM’s should be deleted.
B. All notifications and work orders should be completed or relocated.
C. All task lists should be flagged for deletion.
D. All maintenance plans should be inactivated.

1. Follow the menu path , , ,


, , .
2. Enter the code for the functional location and select .
3. Follow the menu path Structure>Change superior location.
4. Enter the functional location identified as the deleted functional location parent. This will
usually be JUNK-HEA-P, but may vary by business. Check with your TDB Owner if you are
not sure what this is for your business.

5. Select the .
6. One or Two warning messages may appear. Continue to select until all pop-up windows
are closed.
7. Follow the menu path Functional location>Functions> Active <->Inactive> Deactivate.
8. Follow the menu path Functional location>Functions>Deletion Flag>Set.
9. You will see that the system status has changed for the record to INAK DLFL.
10. Select . NOTE:

Functional Locations do not get deleted from the system. They will
still be visible in list displays (IH06). To put a functional location
back into the structure, reverse the above steps.
