Buckets are our Business

Miller was established as a mobile welding service in 1978, specialising in on-site bucket repair and By 1989 the company had expanded substantially and the first Miller Quick Coupler was launched. The lengthy and sometimes
dangerous process of bucket and attachment changeover was transformed to a quick, clean and simple procedure enabling
refurbishment. Even at this early stage the outstanding Miller work ethic was evident in the determination operators to work more efficiently, productively and safely.

loading shovels and hydraulic excavator buckets. Over time the orders started to increase and more customers in the
construction, mining and quarrying industries began to specify Miller Buckets. Today Miller offers an extensive range of buckets for different machine types ranging from 1 to 550 tonne in weight. Designed
to complement and enhance machine performance, Miller buckets have a reputation for strength, durability and reliability,
Miller’s commitment to produce quality, reliable buckets that would optimise machine performance soon became evident which stems from the quality workmanship and dedication that goes into producing every single product.
within the industry and as the company’s profile and reputation was realised, Miller became a brand to trust.

results.
Specifically designed to be used with a Miller Quick Coupler, the Scoop has integrated
bucket pins to reduce the pin to point dimension* and minimise the loss in breakout
force that occurs when a quick coupler is installed.

The Scoop profile enables the bucket to cut through the ground more effectively with
minimal resistance and drag. The self fill action gives an increased pay load. These
combined benefits result in time and fuel savings.

Built to Perform, whatever the application

It is important that the correct specification bucket is fitted to your machine, therefore
Miller offers the Scoop in the following options:

MB500 Digging and loading loose and semi compacted material such as earth, sand,
gravel and clay.

MB600 Digging and loading compacted and semi-abrasive materials such as mixtures
of earth, rock, sand, gravel and clay. Also suitable for plain coal, chalk and
other low abrasion ores.

MB700 Digging and loading hard and abrasive materials like rocky soil, blasted rock
and limestone.

MB800 Aggressive digging and loading of highly abrasive materials such as granite
and basalt.

Saves Time and Money

“When carrying out trials with the Scoop we saved over 2.5 litres per hour in fuel consumption compared with a conventional
bucket from any other manufacturer. The Scoop design also enabled us to dig faster and cut through more material much
more easily. It saved time and money and allowed the operator to get the best from the machine.”

The tried and tested Direct Mount Bucket is strong and durable The Direct Mount Bucket
with a unique design that enhances efficiency and productivity. With years of on-site knowledge and manufacturing experience Miller
designs are continually re-evaluated to enhance machine productivity.
The tried and tested Direct Mount Bucket is strong and durable with a
unique design that can improve efficiency and productivity. Miller Direct
Mount Buckets can be used either with a quick coupler or directly
mounted to the machine.

More efficiency
Miller’s design reduces the area of the bucket that engages with the ground, creating
less resistance than a conventional bucket during the digging cycle. All ground engaging
areas are manufactured from high strength abrasion resistant steel alloy.

More productivity
The design of the bucket ensures a higher fill factor every time. Even sticky materials
can be dumped with ease and the compact shape of the bucket improves the machine’s
digging force in most applications.

Built to perform – whatever the application

It is important that the correct specification bucket is fitted to your machine, therefore
Miller offers the Direct Mount in the following options:

MB 500
Digging and loading loose and semi compacted material such as earth, sand, gravel
and clay.

MB 600
Digging and loading compacted and semi-abrasive materials such as mixtures of
earth, rock, sand, gravel and clay. Also suitable for plain coal, chalk and other low
abrasion ores.

MB 700
Digging and loading hard and abrasive materials like rocky soil, blasted rock and
limestone.

MB 800
Aggressive digging and loading in highly abrasive materials such as granite and basalt.

Innovatively designed through close working relationships with the world’s leading
OEMs, the Miller Direct Mount Bucket complements machines to optimise performance.

are easy to maintain with the added assurance that the correct wear
package is installed for even the toughest application.

The Wheeled Loader Bucket has been in Miller’s product portfolio for almost 30 years
during which time it has been refined to provide optimum productivity and durability.

With four distinct options you can be sure that you have the right bucket for the job.

ML 1200 SERIES - General Purpose

a wealth of experience in designing, testing and manufacturing quality buckets, Miller specialised buckets
are the ideal solution to some of the more uncommon on-site tasks or for unusual and challenging
applications.

Miller welcomes all enquiries about specialised products and is always happy to offer advice and assistance. Below are some
product examples that can maximise productivity and play a vital role on-site.

Ripper Rock Bucket

A dual purpose rock bucket designed for quarry use where
ripping, digging and loading are regular day to day activities.
In applications where a separate ripper and bucket cannot
be justified the Miller Ripper Rock Bucket is an ideal solution.

Riddle/Skeleton Bucket
For ‘sorting’ applications where larger rocks need separating
from smaller ones or in demolition where loose material
needs to be separated from tangled waste. The durable Miller
Riddle/Skeleton bucket will allow you to complete these
specific tasks effectively and efficiently.

BIGGER Buckets
Miller manufactures some of the world’s largest buckets,
including the massive EX5500 bucket. With a capacity of
3
29m and weighing in at approximately 35 tonnes only a
handful of companies in the world can produce a bucket of
this scale.

Special Attachments
Miller offers a comprehensive range of useful attachments aimed at providing solutions to improve
productivity and make life easier on-site.

Ripper
Specifically designed for quarry applications as an alternative to blasting. The Ripper can
be directly mounted to the machine or used in conjunction with the Miller Quick Coupler.
The Miller Ripper can also be used in demolition and road construction.

Grapple
The Miller Grapple is designed to meet the challenges of various applications including
demolition, waste, logging and material handling. Where a bucket may not be the best
solution to moving and loading certain types of material, specify the Miller Grapple.

Front Visor & Face Shovel

For mining and quarry applications where face shovel excavation is preferred to backhoe,
the Miller Front Visor offers the strength and durability to tackle the toughest rock applications.

Fork Attachment
Giving your machine the added versatility to unload and move materials on-site that would
normally require a forklift. The Miller Fork Attachment is designed to work with a Miller Quick
Coupler, to reduce the time it takes to change attachments and improve efficiency. The
attachment has a lifting capacity of 2 tonnes and a standard European fork length of 1 metre.

Hammer Bracket
Manufactured to standard OEM hammer dimensions, the Hammer Bracket can be used either
directly mounted or with a Miller Quick Coupler for greater attachment versatility.

Uni Bracket
The Uni Bracket is a quick way to convert a non-standard bucket so it can be used with a
Miller Quick Coupler. Providing standardisation of your equipment and attachment compatibility,
the Uni Bracket is a cost effective way to get the most from your machine.

Clamshell Bracket
Attached to the top of a clamshell assembly, the Clamshell bracket works with a Miller Quick
Coupler on wheeled excavators where clamshell buckets are the preferred option.
