A RESOLUTION OF THE ASIST LAGANGILANG FACULTY ASSOCIATION

(ALFA) OFFICERS REQUESTING THE COLLEGE PRESIDENT TO
DESIGNATE PROF. NERO M. PADERES AS THE FACULTY
TRUSTEE REPRESENTATIVE IN PLACE OF
PROF. NOEL ARDANIEL WHO HAS AN
ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGNATION

WHEREAS, Dr. Marianette Zarina B. Orejudos, AFA, Inc. President and Faculty Trustee designate has given an
administrative function as the Director for Extension, the AFA, Inc. position for President has been declared vacant;

WHEREAS, concurrent to the position, Prof. Aristotle Versola, the elected AFA, Inc. Vice President, also at the
same has given an administrative function as the Director for Sports, the Vice President, which according to the
Constitution and By-Laws of the association shall serve the remaining unserved term of the President;

WHEREAS, the positions of the President and Vice President are vacant, the faculty associations of both
Lagangilang and Bangued campuses made some re-organizations through election during their respective general
assemblies;

WHEREAS, last October 5, 2018, a Wednesday, election of the AFA, Inc. to fill in the vacant positions of Presidnet,
Vice President and Business Manager took place at the ASIST Conference Room, Administration Building, Main
Campus, Lagangilang, Abra;

WHEREAS, during the election, the ALFA officers were certain that nobody among them has received an
administrative or management designation

WHEREAS, prior to and during the election, the ALFA officers were not informed that Prof. Noel Ardaniel, elected
ABFA President, has received an administrative designation.

WHEREAS, Article V on Principal Officers, Term of Office, Section 4 of the Constitution and By-Laws of the
faculty association, provides that officers who are designated with administrative or management position shall be
deemed automatically resigned;

WHEREAS, in effect of the above article, elected ABFA President Prof. Noel Ardaniel is clearly automatically
resigned; hence, election of Prof. Ardaniel as the AFA, Inc. President and Faculty Trustee is null and void;

WHEREAS, according to the Constitution and By-Laws, inherent to the position of the President which is vacant,
the Vice President shall take over

WHEREOF, the officers of the ASIST Lagangilang Faculty Association (ALFA) hereby resolves, as it is hereby
being resolved to request Dr. GREGORIO T. TURQUEZA, JR., by the power of the authority vested upon him as
the ASIST College President, to designate and authorize Prof. NERO M. PADERES, ALFA President and elected
AFA, Inc. Vice President as automatically the AFA, Inc. President and Faculty Trustee.
