• March 2, 2020 - Georgia PB&J Day, Georgia State Capitol, Atlanta, GA. 9 am til 12 N - Rotunda as the peanut
industry is honored by the Governor and the Legislature. Coordinated by the Georgia Peanut Commission and the
National Peanut Buying Points Association. Info, Joy Purvis at joypurvis@gapeanuts.com. Smell the aroma of hot,
grilled PB&J’s served by the Peanut Buying Points Association and the Georgia Peanut Commission.
• March 3 & 4, 2020 - 2020 American Peanut Shellers Association Spring Meeting is scheduled for March 3-4, 2020 in
Albany, Georgia. Committee meetings will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Association office. The general session
will be held on March 4th at The Bindery at Oakland Library. Comp luncheon to follow, registration is required.
• March 6, 2020–Row Crop Short Course & Trade Show - Jackson County Ag Conference Center, 2741 Penn Ave.

• March 15, 2020 is the enrollment deadline for USDA’s Agriculture Risk (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC)
programs for the 2019 crop year.
• March 18, 2020 - Western Peanut Growers Association (WPGA) - The Western Peanut Growers Association will host
an AG ISSUES CONFERENCE on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11:30 AM at the Seminole Community Center at
801 N. Main Street in Seminole, TX. The 36th Annual Meeting is at 10 AM. Speaker will be Congressman Glenn “GT”
Thompson (R) of Pennsylvania, Vice Chairman of the U.S. House Ag Committee. Congressional host will be
