1. Discuss the capabilities of the PC outside of education, namely:

a) Electronic or e-Commerce - is a type of industry where the buying and selling of products is
conducted over electronic systems such as the internet and other computer network.
b) E-Finance - including, investing, banking, mortgage, lending and insurance will grow at
dazzling rate in the coming years
c) Entertainment - is a form of activity that holds the attention and interest of an audience, or
gives pleasure and delight, it can be an idea or task
d) Advertising - in business is a form of marketing communication used to encourage,
persuade, or manipulate an audience to take or continue to take some action
e) Propaganda or Development Communication - is a form of communication aimed towards
influencing the attitude of the community toward some cause or position by presenting only
one side of an argument. propaganda statements may be partly false and partly true.

2. Discuss related issues:

(a) intellectual property rights

Piracy is typically an act of robbery. The term can include acts committed on land, in the air, or
in other major bodies of water. It does not normally include crimes committed against persons
traveling on the same vessel as the perpetrator. The term has been used throughout history to
refer to raids across land borders by non-state agents.

(b) pornography using the internet

There was no "copyright" logo or any other watermark on the photo the photo is on the
internet, therefore it is free to use. There was the photographer's watermarked on the photo. If
he put it there, it was so he can advertise his business when we share his photo, right. Millions
of people are doing it.

(c) pyramiding scam using the Internet

Pyramid schemes are investment scams in which investors are promised abnormally high profits
on their investments. No investment is actually made. Early investors are paid returns with the
investment money received from the later investors. The system usually collapses. The later
investors do not receive dividends and lose their initial investment. If you believe you may have

(d) gaming or lottery

The lottery scheme deals with persons randomly contacting email addresses advising them they
have been selected as the winner of an International lottery. The Internet Crime Complaint
Center has identified numerous lottery names being used in this scheme.one of the example line
that I have from those people is this: This is to inform you of the release of money winnings to
you. Your email was randomly selected as the winner and therefore you have been approved for
a payout 500, 000 pesos. To begin your lottery claim, please contact the processing company
selected to process your winnings.
