BILL NO. 1 : PRELIMINARIES

PRELIMINARIES

A Allow for moving piling frame, plants, equipment and tools on and about site as
often as necessary for execution the Works under this section and all necessary
excavation that may entail for movement of piling frame, plant, equipment and
tools. any other necessary associates filling in and ramming including the
provision of hard standing and platform for the mounting piling frame, plant,
equipment and tools and piling at different shall be included .

Allow to comply with full Statutory Requirement, Employment of Legal Workers,

B CIDB Requlation & Compliances including Levy before and during the Works
execution.

C Provide all working and efficient Plant and Equipment Insurances.

The Main Contractor already have the insurance cover for the Works, etc CAR,
D WC AND TPL. if you feel necessary for your own extra Insurance cover .

E To provide temporary power, water, corrective making good to Works, mechanical

repairs,and consumables etc for the deep soil mixing pile works including the
proper sedimentation tank for the Works

F To submit and provide for all As Built Drawings, piling record, soil and cement
mixing drill depth signed records by the Project Employer.

To provide competent full time management, supervision and construction

management for this section of the DSM Piling Works.

H Mobilisation and Demobilisation of all piling equipment, the piling machine shall
minimun requirement of model capacity 280 and above, together with the number
of KD bar requirement at least 1.5 time of drilling pile length, the concrete casting
tremie pipe shall require at least 1.5 time of pile length and the Auger must fullfill
extra set. Allow for the cost of each piling equipment , machines (all including of
site management, plant and labour) necessary to complete the Works, properly as
per approved Construction Drawings, Specification and Bills of Quantities and
Contract Program. ( As a requirement provide sufficient Rigs to compliance with
Contract Program, all within this Subcontract value).

J Allow for temporary Site Office and Off site Accommodation. Item

K The Main Contractor will provide the control point, you have engage PE to
establishment of all necessary bench marks for the setting out of the works
including the pile point & provision of site survey prior to commencement of any
permanent work. Item

L Provide all cost for incurred by complying with all safety, Health and Welfare
regulations appertaining to all workmen (including those employed by niminated
sub-contractors) employed on the site. the contractorshall provide and enfore all
safety measure as stipulated:-
1) Factories and Machinery regulation 1970
2) Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994
3) All other relevent safety at work legislations and regulations Item

BILL NO. 2 - DSM Piling Works

DEEP SOIL MIXING PILES (PROVISIONAL)

The pay length for drilling of DSM pile shall be measured from
the proposed earthwork platform level to the toe of
irrespective depth

Deep soil mixing pipe as below classified to the works:-

Moving machinery from piling points to another piling points to

form the following diameter deep soil mixing pile including
pumping in approved cement grout to mix with the existing
drilling soil and any other accessories and all fees to complete
on time.

A Forming 500mm diameter not exceeding 8m depth DSM pile

with approved cement grout as mixture to soil including the
drilling machine and together with the length of mixing rod
requirement at least 1.5 time of drilling pile length and the
mixing auger must full fill extra set. Deep Soil Mixing Columns m - Rate Only
shall achieve UCS 1.0Mpa and other standard requirement
according to specification. (Cement Grout
supply and deliver by Main Contractor)

B Forming 500mm diameter exceeding 8m depth DSM pile; m 1,172,443.00

Trial Columns
C To provide machines, tool and labour to carry out 4
successive trial column test in the field at the proposed
treatment site according to the specification and drawing No. Unit Rate Rate Only
requirement.

Field Testing of Working Columns

D The tests of working columns shall be carried out
