Course Objectives:
1. After completing this course, students will be able to acquire knowledge of different labor laws
and social legislation under the Philippine laws and appreciate its application in the Human
Resource Development Management perspective as well as the perspective of workers.
2. Given the reading materials and activities of this course, students will be able to learn the rights
and obligations of workers and employers as they themselves will experience the work
environment for the next few semesters in their internship program.
