OF ANTONIO T. TRILLANES

I, ANTONIO T. TRILLANES, of legal age, Filipino, married,

employee of private company, with postal address in Brgy.Tunga-tunga
Maasin City Southern, Leyte, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, fully conscious that I am answering the following
questions under oath, and that I may face criminal liability for false
testimony or perjury and said judicial affidavit was conducted at the Law
Office of Atty. Ace Vincent Gertos, located at Brgy. Bagongbayan Bato,
Leyte, which taking was done in English which I clearly speak and
understand and that the other information or requirements of Sec. 3, A.M.
12-8-8-SC as explained to me by the administering officer, hereby deposes
and states as follows:

PURPOSE

This affidavit of the witness, Antonio T. Trillanes is being offered

to prove the existence of doubt on the charged of Reckless Imprudence
Resulting to Physical Injuries against the accused and deny all allegations
against him.

Question 1: Please state your name and other personal circumstances for
the records.

Answer 1: I am Antonio Tavera Trillanes, 32 years of age, married, and

residing at Brgy. Pinas Maasin City, Southern Leyte.

Question 2: Do you personally know the accused in this instant case, Mr.
Rodrigo R. Duterte?

Answer 2: Yes, sir. He is my neighbor at Brgy. Pinas Maasin City,

Southern Leyte.

Question 3: Where were you last May 7, 20189 at 7:30 o’clock in the
morning?

Answer 3: I was outside the Provincial Hospital at Brgy. Dongon,

Maasin City Southern Leyte.

Question 4: What exactly are you doing outside the hospital?

Answer 4: I was supposed to buy breakfast at the opposite side of the

hospital where the canteens are located as my grandmother was
hospitalized at the Provincial Hospital.

Question 5: Do you remember what transpired in the morning of May 7,

2019?

Answer 5: Yes, I remember. There was a collision between two

motorcycles on the road outside the provincial hospital driven by Mr. Roa
R. Duterte and Ms. Leni Robredo.

Question 6: What exactly happened during that time?

Answer 6: I went outside the hospital to buy breakfast, when I was

about to cross the street I saw Mr. Rodrigo R. Duterte slowly driving his
motorcycle on the right side lane of the road. I noticed then that the left
signal light of his motorcycle was blinking as he was about to turn left
where the hospital was located however Mr. Roa R. Duterte was bumped
by the motorcycle next to him.

Question 7: Why did the motorcycle next to Mr. Roa R. Duterte bumped
him?

Answer 7: I have no idea sir as I did not clearly see the next motorcycle
coming.

Question 8: How did you know that it was Ms. Leni Robredo who
bumped Mr. Roa R. Duterte?

Answer 8: After the collision, I went to the location where the accident
took place to lend some help where I also found out that it was Ms. Leni
Robredo who bumped Mr. Roa R. Duterte, who was driving the next
motorcycle.

Question 9: Do you personally know Ms. Leni Robredo?

Answer 9: Yes I personally know her as she was my highschool

classmate.

Question 10: What happened next, if any?

Answer 10: Both of them were immediately brought by the people

around there at the near hospital for medications.

Question 11: What did you do after?

Answer 11: After seeing both of them being brought by the people around
to the near hospital, I continued to buy breakfast at the
opposite side of the hospital where the canteens are located.

Question 12: Do you have anything else to say Mr. Antonio?

Answer 12: No more, Sir.

asked and the corresponding answers the affiant/witness gave;
